Chapter 19

Elena pov

I don't dare to go against him when he picks me up in his arms and starts carrying me up to his office. I feel small in his arms and I want to be anywhere else than here. My heart beats hard in my chest and I hardly manage to breathe when he shoves a door open with his foot and walks inside with me.

I see we have reached his office and he places me down on my feet but doesn't step away from me.

"Hand me your shoes!" He says in his dominant voice. Raising my head to look at him I meet his brown eyes and get lost for a moment just staring into them.

"Your shoes!' He says again and it jolts me out of my trance. I don't get it why he needs my shoes and I won't take them off. I can't be without my shoes!

Taking a step backward he is quick and lifts me up by my waist and places me down on his office desk.

" Are you going to disobey me?" He says and leans forward while I try to lean back and get away from him. His face comes closer and his breath is fanning my face. I have no
