His Doom

                        (THE WISH) 

The scorching sun shone down on Desmond as he walked through the human world dressed in a casual dress like every other human...

"How will I find you? Desmond asked no one in particular as he starred at the blue Skye with so much pain

"Sera....where are you? Where in the world are you hiding? He screamed out in frustration drawing people's attention but he didn't care because all he could think of that moment was Sera

"I really need to find you..he cried out again and began to stagger like a drunkard

👥Who is he? 

👥He's so cute.... He's probably a demi- god

"Sera, I hope I find you quickly.. He muttered ignoring the numerous comments from people as he continue walking

👥I wish I am the one he's looking for" A girl said dreamingly

Desmond who had heard her turned to her with a frown 

"I don't grant lustful wishes"..he snapped, his face void of emotions and the girl flinch back in fear

Desmond was lonely and was beginning to lose focus...of course he couldn't concentrate when his first love wasn't born 

"What if she's never reborn?" He thought but quickly brush such thoughts off

"She promised to be reborn, she has to to be reborn..yes she has to" he said assured himself and went to a safer place then teleported into his big mansion...

 # Desmond's mansion#

He landed in the sitting room and found Michael sitted with his legs crossed but Michael was oblivious of his (Desmond) presence

"What are you doing here?" He asked drawing Micheal's attention from the Tv

"Ohh... you're here. How did you get in? Because I'm sure I didn't hear the door opening" he asked but quickly frown

"Wait, don't tell me you made use of your powers" Michael exclaimed

"why are you here? Desmond ask in his usual cold voice ignoring micheal's question

"You know there's always a penalty when you use your power without re__

"Damn the penalty" Desmond growl and michael flinch back slightly while the walls shook as if it was gonna collapse

"Gosh..Calm down" he said but Desmond kept a straight face

"C'mon desmond,,,I believe you must have missed me that's why I came" Michael added trying to calm the hot atmosphere but Desmond wasn't in the mood for much talk since he could read what was going on in Micheal's mind.

That was one of the benefit of being a spirit god– mind reading!

"Why would I miss you? I guess those up there cast you out from their territory" Desmond said coldy

"What do you mean cast? I came here willingly and... Michael quickly cut himself off and kept a straight face. He was trying to stop himself from thinking too. He wanted to make sure Desmond doesn't read his mind . Yet, his mind was speaking already and Desmond let out a sigh

"No one's gonna replace Sera" Desmond said sternly

"That's why I am here.. they asked me to find out. Don't tell me you're doing all this because of that Sera... Michael ask in his mind

👤Are the deities even listening? I want to win a lottery

👤 If there's someone up there that grant wishes pls listen to me.. I need money to settle my debt

Desmond sigh frustratingly as his head seems like what was gonna explode any moment as people wishes kept echoing in his head including Michael's question

"Enough mich, you all of people should know no one can replace sera"Desmond said angrily

"Then What should I te... 

"That I will wait for Sera .. He cut Michael off

"I'm sorry " Michael said sadly

"You know I hate it too when I'm being pitied" Desmond glared at him

Everyone in the immortal word knew fully well that Desmond's days were numbered if he doesn't find Sera and even if he does, his days were still numbered because their fate contradict each other

Cruel fate.

A Spirit being and a human can't be together.. it's not possible....but still, Desmond was still determined to find her even though he knew the repercussions

Michael sigh and looked up at Desmond who had no expression on his face

"Then I'll join you in finding her" Michael after a while before slumping back on the sofa

Another Silence filled the air as Desmond starred intensely at Michael... he knew exactly what was going on in Michael's mind

different unanswered question went through Michael's mind,, curiosity was clearly written on his face, but....he was more nervous at what Desmond might do if he asked the wrong questions... 

Yes he and Desmond had been together for a hundred years but he still doesn't know a thing about Desmond.

Strange right?.

All he knew was that; Desmond has always been a cold guy who talks only a little.....and about sera...he had wonder what relationship they had together because that was the only name Desmond has ever mention since he knew him.

"Are you that curious?" Desmond asked but Michael shook his head in denial

"Michael.. you of all should know that if you have any question in mind, spit it out and stopped talking with your mind" he added and Michael nodded slowly

"I'm sorry about that... I'm just curious and scared" Michael replied

"Do you want to know how it all happened?" He asked taking a seat opposite Michael

"I know you will tell me when the time comes...you must have your reasons for not telling me..but....I'm still very much interested if you want to tell me now" Michael said excitedly

Uh! Desmond scoffed then cleared his throat 

"Well...It all started when..... Desmond pause and look at the anxious Michael who was listening with rapt attention and he smirk

"That'll be a story for another day I need to shower" he said and started walking upstairs

"No, Desmond you can't do this to me" Michael cried out in frustration running his hands through his hair...

"Des nooo...you can't do this to me" he screamed from where he was in the sitting room... 

He has waited for this for 100yrs but it all ends with " story for another day"?

"Des you must be kidding right?" Michael said loudly and smirk when a thought cross his mind

"Desmond!!!. He screamed in his head but Desmond ignored him like he didn't hear anything

Even though Desmond was cold, he made an exception for Michael. He had always loved Michael like a brother...a younger brother at that but Michael knew his limit :- he knew the question to ask and those he shouldn't, he knew when to play and when to be serious, probably that's why he could endure living together with Desmond all this year's.

"It's either today or no other day" Michael said in his mind again and ran after Desmond ... 

"Keep it down Mich, you're too noisy" Des said but Michael ignored him and kept talking in his mind

Desmond suddenly stopped on his tracks when he heard a voice echo in head. His ears pricked up at the sound of the voice....yes the determination and sadness behind the voice was so strong that he couldn't move.

Unknown to Michael that Desmond had stopped moving. he bump into Desmond hitting his head on his back

"I'm sorry, sorry , sorry" Michael said quickly but got no reply from Desmond

Many thoughts were going on in Desmond's head

"Why would anyone wish for such a thing? He wondered with a smirk

It was the First time in 100yrs he heard such a wish. he knew these were things human ask for and it's given to them but not at the expense of another life! 

His smirk grew bigger

He didn't care if a person's wish was "death" he'll gladly grant it

"I need to fulfill the woman's wish...I have never heard a human as determined as her" desmond laugh briefly

"Humans and foolishness" he kept laughing while Michael just stared at him wondering if he was psycho

"Desmond!!" He heard his name and he frown

"Gosh...they just won't allow me have some free time" he grumble

"Let's go, we need to hurry" he added and Michael nodded even though he had no idea of what was going on

they glance at each other before vanishing to the immortal realm.
