Chapter 5 Dragon

Shrey sighed as he repeated, "My college is 5 minutes away; if you know more than these three words, proceed; otherwise, please side."

Shrey was somehow impressed by her comeback and smiled proudly, though she knew they were at fault as well.

"You!" Before he could say anything else, his phone rang, and his attention traveled to the phone inside his car.

"Sir, I will get it," the driver said, bowing his head and rushing to get his boss’ phone from the car for a split second; they didn’t pay attention to Shrey and her friends.

George sighed looking at the call log and rubbed his forehead to ease some tension.

Taking this as a sign, Reva signaled Louis to run as they were getting late and the man standing in front of them seemed to be distracted, so Reva nudged Shrey and signaled Shrey to follow.

Shrey knew they were getting late, so without wasting time, the three decided to go from the other side of the car silently.

When they reached the other side of the car, Shrey shouted, "I'll pause it here dude, but I won’t let it go," and ran from there.

George was confused by her remark, and before he would ask what she meant she ran away, George sighed looked at their disappearing figures and sat back in his car and drove off.

On the other hand, Shrey, Reva, and Louis reached their college on time and went to their respective classes. As Shrey and Reva were in the same batch, they sat together every day.

In Shrey’s class, there were around 56 students, with 2 on each desk; today, Shrey and Reva decided to sit near the back door as their regular seats were occupied. Soon, a professor in her 30s entered the class and started teaching.

"Reva, dragons in dragon land have summoned us; we need to go." "What?" Reva was confused by Shrey’s words; she was busy doing scribbles on her notebook while her professor was teaching. Reva moved her gaze to Shrey, who appeared tired and bored.

"Didn’t you hear me?" Shrey said, rolling her eyes, leaning on the desk, and covering her face with her hands so her professor would not see them.

"Yeah, I did small bean, but now isn't the time to skip class." Reva whispered when the professor turned to write something on the board and pulled her focus towards the class;

Shrey pouted and said nothing, as she wasn’t able to focus on what her professor was teaching.

She was preoccupied by the thoughts of the man she saw on the streets.

"He was so handsome and devilish enough to kill me today," Shrey thought to herself, pouting. "Today we will continue the dragon tales; it's been two days now." Reva said as Shrey’s distraction was clearly visible on her face.

"Yeah," Shrey said absentmindedly.

"Reva," their professor called, and Reva stood and obediently replied, "Yes, ma'am."

"Please collect the project books from the students and make sure you bring them to me in the staff room and collect them till the end of the class, and Shrey, where is Shrey?"

The professor asked and sighed, looking here and there, and said, "Ma’am, she is." Reva mumbled the last word, as she was shocked that Shrey was sitting next to her a few seconds ago, and now the seat next to her is empty.

"As her communication skills are great, I was about to give her the task of showing the new trustee our college campus, but guess what? She fled."
