Chapter 4 Their first Encounter

2023-03-13 23:41:21"Hey, wait for me," Shrey yelled, but to her surprise, they didn’t hear. She was tired by now, as she never works out.
Louis was about to catch Reva as she was getting tired as well, but before he could, Louis noticed the car coming towards them with speed, and since Reva wasn’t attentive to the sight, due to Louis' great reflexes, he reached out to her.
Her eyes widened when he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him when a car crossed with speed, and he cornered her near the gate of someone’s house. They were staring at each other and panting without getting apart.
The road was narrow and one way, the car halted its progress when a girl, who was running to save her friend, came in front of it.
It was Shrey; she was running towards Reva to warn her about the car, but lucky for her, she was saved by Louis; on the other hand, Shrey was luckier, as the car's driver stopped the car at the right time or else.
"What the hell?" shouted the manly, deep voice at his driver as he was busy with his presentation work, and the car stopping with the jolt, irked and disturbed him.
His voice alone can send chills down anyone's spine.
"Um, sir, some graduate students were running through the streets, and one of them--" the driver's and man's eyes widen when they notice a girl leaning on the bonnet and staring at the man in the car.
"What the hell?" The man came outside and yelled at Shrey, who was staring at him with unknown emotions and a raised heartbeat.
He was wearing a dark blue and black check jacket with a pastel blue shirt paired with acid wash blue denim and a blue check tie, which complimented his heart-shaped jawline.
He was well-built and tall, with hazel blue eyes glazing his beauty, and his black hair complimented his fair skin perfectly.
His soft pink lips, which were thin but plump, were the cherry on top of his lovely face.
He seemed to be young and professional and matured at the same.
He walked towards Shrey and pulled her towards him as she was still leaning on the bonnet. "Hey," he said with a poker face, and snapped his finger near her face to get her out of the trance.
Her entire life flashed before her eyes; "Oh god, today I was going to be crashed by this handsome man at such a young age," were the only thoughts racing through her head.
On the other hand, "Are you okay?" Louis mumbled, still holding Reva by her waist.
She shyly nodded her head and looked everywhere but at him; she was feeling weird about this unknown feeling. "Great, now give me my phone back," he said, snatching his phone back from her hand.
"What the hell?" they heard someone yell and flinched hard at that voice, then looked towards the source of the voice. Their eyes widen when they spot Shrey leaning on the bonnet of a light blue luxurious car Mercedes-Benz and being pulled by an unknown man.
"Shrey," they both said at the same time and rushed towards her, "What the hell?" George said it again for the third time as Reva mistakenly slightly pushed him; he let go of Shrey’s hand and stared Shrey and her friends up and down irritatingly.
