Five a.m. rarely met me asleep, but today, I found myself waking up by five thirty six a.m.

That was something I'd blame on Chloe's presence beside me.

She just had a kind of warmth that would make any man cuddle her forever.

That was how it had been all night for two weeks. Today being no exception.

I stared at her. At the beauty she upheld.

And once again couldn't help but be glad about the decision I'd made to stay with her.

One thing was certain, I was going to keep her no matter what. Nothing, no matter how much weight it carried, would be able to stop that.

Slowly, my fingers lifted, brushing off the strands of hair that'd fallen on my face.

“I love you.” I whispered. “And I'll always fight for it.”

That was a promise. A promise I was very much willing to fulfill.

Hesitantly, I got out of bed, ensuring I didn't wake her.

Sincerely, all I'd wanted was to stay in bed all day and marvel in the beauty she possessed, but the company still had a lot that needed attending to,
