A Screaming Silence

He was standing in front of her door and with a soft push, he opened her door because it was unlocked. He stepped inside the room, which was engulfed with darkness and the only source of light was the dim table lamp which was present beside the bed and was on.

After wandering all over in that darkness, his restless eyes finally fell on his peace, who was present in her bed.

He walked towards her carefully and then looked at her whose body was curled up, her head was leaned against her teddy's shoulder which was present beside her. Her one arm was wrapped around her teddy bear and the other was placed on her abdomen where he saw her holding something.

Her eyes were closed. She was asleep but the table lamp beside the bed had made it possible for him to see those tears still rolling down from the corner of her eyes. Those tears and their stains on her slightly pink cheeks. She had cried herself to her sleep and even her closed eyes were still shedding tears . That painfully he had br
