Prologue
"Dad!" I called for him with my little voice and watched as he turned his back to face me.
A smile appeared on his lips-- that bright smile that lit up like a dawn. His face was dazzling under the sun, and his eyes glinted in them. He was the only person that could make me run when I felt like the entire world was heaved on my shoulders. I called him my sanctuary, and I was his little princess.
