Cara laid with her back on the bed, she felt awkward just laying there while Abigail searched her insides with a transducer.

The ultrasound gel was cold and enjoyed the feel of that on her stomach but now she need to pee from all the water Abigail had forced down her throat. "It is for the ultrasound!" She had insisted.

Cara wanted to wiggle her leg out of boredom but Abigail ordered her not to move. Not even by an inch.

"Your little nugget is doing just fine." There was a soft smile on her lips. "I can't wait for the day this baby comes out to the real world!"

"Well it's still months away so..." Cara responded, not sounding as excited as Abigail had expected her to be.

Abigail's brow went up in question. "What is with such a response? Are you not excited to be a mom?"

"Well I am excited to have a baby." Cara responded, her left leg finally wiggling.

"Not the same thing." Abigail proclaimed. She took off the transducer from Cara's stomach and wiped the gel off of her still invisi

  • His Greatest Regret    Counting Her Enemies

Cara did not enjoy anything more than the company of her man, alone, together in the warmth of her bed and blanket over their bodies. His arms, stretched over her body and pulling her closer to himself. Her back pressing against his firm chest. It still felt like a dream, the way everything was working out for her was almost too easy. She could not help but to get an uneasiness as she thought of the day that followed. She planned to meet with Chris, not to fight, not to argue, but rather to reason with him and make him see that she was happy now and if he truly loved her enough to want her back then he would let her go. If he refused, then she would have no choice but to involve the police. And of course, she was not going alone, she was going with an escort. Romeo had already done everything for her, he arranged strong men and women to go around with her and keep her safe at all times. It was excessive if she were to be honest but she also did not mind it at the period. Romeo

  • His Greatest Regret    Fifty Million Dollars

Micheal was silent for quite some time, the words played around in his mind and refused to stop. Meanwhile Jessica stood there, satisfied, watching all the emotions play out on his face. Just what she wanted to see. She hit him playfully on the arm, "what are you thinking about so seriously?" She asked with a slight chuckle. "It's not like it's about our family or anything." Micheal batted his lashes, letting out a nervous chuckle, he responded, "yeah of course not. Go and take care of yourself, have some ointment applied on your neck and stay with your son." With a nod, she smiled and walked away, rubbing her aching neck. ***Chris gave a roll of his eyes. "You reporters will really resort to anything just to get words out of my mouth won't you?" The man in front of him blinked, confused. "Re- reporters? What gives off the impression that I am a reporter?" "Oh come on, i have dealt with a lot of reporters like you, coming to me and telling me you have intel on my wife or my mo

  • His Greatest Regret    How It Should Be

Jessica was still seated on the ground, trying to comprehend the situation that had just happened. A voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "What's all this ruckus?" Micheal yelled out as he rushed towards the hall way. His eyes widened with surprise and shock as he saw Jessica on the ground, holding on to her neck and looked so baffled. He rushed to her, holding her. "What happened here? How come you're sitting on the ground here?" Hot tears spilled from her eyes and trailed down her cheeks. "It was Chris..." She managed to get the words out of her mouth. "He... He just tried to kill me. I was so scared, I thought I would die and never get to see my son again, I thought... I thought... I thought..." The words hung in her throat as she tried to spill them. Her brain was too fazed and so she could not even complete a simple sentence. Micheal pulled her into his arms, trying to provide comfort the way he could. After all, he didn't hate the criminal, he just hated the crime. "It's

  • His Greatest Regret    Tasting Death

Confusion was a word too small to describe how Chris was feeling. His head was spinning and his heart was racing, how was that even possible? He was not a Knowles? How? All his life he had lived with them as their son, he had loved him as his father and he had grown up in wealth and all thanks to him but now he had found out that he was not the true son of Michael Knowles? To make matters worse, he had not gotten the chance to delete the message before his father would come out of the bathroom and even if he did, it was a thing that was very possible for his father to retrieve it or request it again from the person that had sent it to him. But something else made him feel confused. Why did his father even do a DNA test in the first place? Did he not believe that he was in son from the start? Who did he not trust? Him or his mother? Who had he been doubting from the start? What pushed him to take such a step from the start? He was lost in confusion. Just then, he heard a voice cal

Chris had been all smiles all day, Jessica could only wonder what was making him so happy. If only she knew that he had plans to meet his ex wife and try to persuade her into coming back into his life. Sitting on the bed with Jeremy playing with his toys next to her, Chris barged into her bedroom and threw some papers her way. She was caught off guard, earlier, she walked went into the kitchen to fetch some snacks for herself and her son, she had seen Chris smiling at his phone. A phone call came in while he was drooling at only the heavens knew what and he seemed to excited as he picked it up, "have you prepared the flowers?" He questioned enthusiastically. His smile immediately morphed into an upside down smile. "What the heck? I gave you this order ages ago! Why is it taking forever to prepare some god d*mn flowers?!" He barked angrily. After a short silence, he continued. "Final touches huh... Okay. She loves roses... I think. I mean what woman out there doesn't like roses? A

  • His Greatest Regret    Her True Happiness

Joshua stepped in front of his father, "my dear brother-in-law, don't listen to my dad, I insist on accepting this gift from you. My dad is so ignorant, he doesn't know how things are done these days."Romeo nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, that's what I think too. Dad, you don't have to do that for me, you've given me a debt no money can ever repay, your daughter. I'm afraid I can never do enough to pay you back for getting married to a woman like her. Please, I insist you accept this gift." Kenneth nodded his head, trying to focus on what they were saying. "Uh uhm yeah, yeah I think... Okay. Let's do that since you keep insisting."A smile drew on Romeo's face. "Good then, would you like to have something to eat before we hit the road?""I know there will be more than enough to eat at the hotel, let's hit the road and forward the coordinates to Aria's parents." Joshua stated. They all agreed to his suggestion and started to leave Cara's apartment. Cara drew Romeo back and whis
