Twenty-four

I pushed open the door apart and took slow steps inside the office room which the man outside pointed at. But I paused at the door way to the office room as I see the room was empty. The first thing my eyes caught was the large dark wood desk that six to eight people could comfortably eat around, which was a perfect match to the coffee table by the couch. The dark leather chair was all empty behind the large dark wood desk.

“Welcome Angel.” A deep husky male voice startled me, I glanced at the the place from where the voice came. There, I found a man in the fine grey suit was standing straight facing to the large ceiling windows. His both hands we’re tugged into both sides of his pant pockets. All I could see was his tall figure and broad large back.

Wait. The voice? The same husky voice. He’s the only man who calls me with that name.
