“ Touch her with your filthy hands and you will lose them faster than you can say 'it' ” Darryl's cold voice slithered through the entire hall and a small smile made its way up to Diana's face at the sound of her mate's voice. Her body trembled violently in want but she calmed herself down, that wasn't the time to lust him. There was a big issue on the ground that she needed to solve.

Leonard's face morphed into pure anger as he searched for the direction of the voice. He kicked his Beta who was still clutching his chest in pain out of his way to look for wherever the vampire king was hiding. Diana threw the banquet away and folded her arms watching her brother's rage multiplied by ten folds.

“ Show your face, you wretched creature” Leonard growled, his eyes turning pitch black instead of the normal golden color peculiar to when his wolf fights for dominance. Black veins grew in vines around his neck and his skin became deathly pale. Diana gasped in shock at his appeara
