Chapter 10.Diana's eyes flew open when the sun hit her face. She wasn't asleep because she was thinking about her wolf and trying to bring back her memories at the same time. Howard had left her on the bed over an hour ago to take care of pack duties. Chapter 11.Taking the advice of the strange voice, she left the passageway and made her way back to where Brittany left her but she couldn't recognize the spot again as she wandered around the second building. The words of that voice weighed heavily on her mind. Chapter 12.“ Where the hell have you been?” Alpha Leonard barked out the moment he saw Diana giggling at whatever Brittany said. Chapter 13.“ You were in my memory ” She pointed out immediately he stepped into her dream plane once again. He raised his eyebrows at the unwelcoming attitude. Chapter 14.“ Thank you little one, I will see you tomorrow” For the first time, Diana watched him fade out of her dreams and that puzzled her. He looked so weak and that bothered her a lot. She woke with a pulsating headache and a thousand years' worth of exhaustion. She was exhausted both mentally and physically, she couldn't even open her eyes properly without the side of her head pounding. Dried tears decorated her face, she must have been crying physically even though it was in her dream. Chapter 15.“ D.. we will be late if you start” She muttered with a smile trying to push him with hands that seemed to be dragging him closer to her. His name on her mouth remains censored like someone turned it out. The vampire king muttered huskily under his breath, incorrigible words as his hands fumbled with the zipper of her dress.“ Mine” he growled removing the hands she placed on his chest to push him away. He had her cornered as her breath grew ragged and her heartbeat became faster. She couldn't hear him because he didn't have one. Her wolf purred loudly as his hands wandered everywhere on her body especially when his right hand brushed his mark which stood proudly on her neck. Chapter 16.“ No!” She growled in her head. It sounded as if the voice was pacing around her head. She was starting to get a headache, it was hard to keep her fake smile on her face when someone was growling in her head. She looked around to see if anyone else could hear that voice but it seemed she was the only one who could.She imagined a clear lake of water in her mind and tried to freeze it but it was hard to concentrate as she replied to people's greetings here and there.
