Chapter - 10
Chris' POV
Carefully, I laid Ivy back down, supporting her head on the back of the sofa so she was comfortable.
As much as I didn't like doing this to her for the second time, it was necessary.
"She is a beautiful woman. And you seem to care about her quite a lot, Alpha," Thalia, ever the observant, commented.
I simply nodded in response. "Can we start whatever ritual it is that you need to do?"
Thalia nodded at me. "Let me just see her once."
She walked over to Ivy before placing her hands on her head much like Gwen had done earlier before she began chanting.
A few moments later, she stopped. "I understand what you meant before, Gwen. Call your sisters and bring the chalices, Gwen. We'll need all the help we can get if we are to break this spell."
Gwen nodded before leaving the room.
