Anastacia' POV.

I sit at the head of the table in the boardroom with the other directors staring at me intensely, as if expecting an explanation for what they just witnessed in my office earlier.

Damn! How was I not expecting a couple elderly director to show up in my office after the sudden change i made this morning.

They are sitting opposite each other on either side of the long table, papers and files sitting in front of each person with microphone to their faces.

What the hell is going on? All these changes without my permission. Everyone here is new, except for two people whom i have known since my childhood; Mr and Mrs Detroit.

I've known them ever since i was little, although not personally, they were on and off friends with my parents and also a huge part of this company.

Everyone else on this table is staring at me with uncertainty in your eyes, a look of distrust being the most visible, but Mr Detroit and his wife have nothing but love in their eyes, or am I wrong.
