Sanaya was sleeping in her room when some hazy voice was getting to her ears. Slowly the voice was getting loud as if someone was screaming.
In her subconscious mind, she thought it was just a dream. She turned to her left, keeping her eyes shut. But she could still hear it.
Suddenly she got up and tried listening to the voice, to make sure if she was dreaming or... But then she heard, it was sounding none other than Nick's voice. 'Nick...' She quickly ran towards his room.
The more she was getting closer the voice was sounding more painful as if the person was screaming and crying at the same time.
She tried to open the door and found out it was locked from inside. Hitting at the door Sanaya let out in a panic voice, "Nick, what happened? Open the door!"
She hit on the door again as she said, "Can you hear me? Nick, open the door!"
Nick didn't open the door and it was making her more worried. She was feeling more uneasy, she
It was time for vidai(farewell). Spending time here, Nick didn’t feel like they were Sanaya’s family only but not his. They gave him so much love and warmth that he couldn’t be happier. It was more than enough for him to be grateful. He got all the love that he lacked from his own family. Her father was his father so her mother was, and even her uncle and aunt loved him not excluding her cousin sisters, and brothers. After all these years she didn’t know that Suraj would change. Whether it was because Nick was wealthy and from a different background than he could never reach but she was happy regardless of the reason.Today, she wore a beautiful but simple saree and she wore everything that a Bengali wife could wear. She had her wedding ring on her ring finger while Nick wore branded suit and blazer. He looked elegant so did she, They looked perfect together. The couple was walking down the stairs when all the members were waiting for them. It was time to bid goodbye. One by one all
“Dad, then you were just…”“Or what did you think? Of course, I accept him. Your mom told me everything. Even if he would not come, we would stop the wedding. But he came like a hero. How can I dislike him.” Hearing her dad say so, Sanaya hugged her dad. “Thanks, Dad, I thought you…”“Virat is very cunning. He manipulated her but thankfully, it didn’t work. Your mom told me everything and later, I told her to do what he told her to do but we had plan b…”“He even dared to manipulate grandpa.”Hearing her, her dad as if fell from the up sky. He stared at her confused, “Your grandpa too?”“Yeah, yesterday I got to know that grandpa never told him to kill Nick. It was all Virat’s plan all along. He threatened me with Nick and said that grandpa was behind it. He said grandpa wanted me to divorce him or he would make sure that Nick would be killed so I had to fake the divorce thingy... I thought maybe…now I know we should always talk it out rather than believe in what we see. Sometimes wha
Sanaya's whole family, including her long-distance relatives, were more than shocked when they got to hear that he was her husband."So, you guys are married for more than two years already?""No, he is lying. They... They are already divorced." Virat walked toward them while trying to explain things. As he took a step toward Sanaya, Nick held her hand and stood before her, making sure Virat could not reach her. "Divorced? Who told you that may I know? Mr. Virat. Of course, if you don't mind.""I... I know that. She signed the papers, I saw it with my own eyes... I mean..." Suddenly understanding what he was saying as Virat put his hand over his mouth while looking for alternatives Nick couldn't help but giggle. When Virat was about to say something, he only chose to keep his mouth shut for some time. Nick in a serious tone asserted, "I think you didn't expect this to happen so soon... Don't worry, you will be getting more now than you imagined. ""What?" Virat was surprised. What did
"What did you say?""I said I am pregnant with my husband's child so I..."Slap!Sanaya was nudged back as the old man slapped her all of a sudden. Thankfully Sanaya's dad quickly ran to her and gave her a backup."Dad, she is pregnant." Her dad asserted so while looking at her worriedly."Get rid of the child as soon as possible!" The old man scattered. There were not many people present. The old man, her mom and dad, Virat and his parents. Sanaya faked a smile and blurted out, "This is my child. I wanna see who dares to do that.""You! How dare you! Not only shameless, but you also forgot manners. How could you bring shame to our family?"Sanaya heard him. "Dad, what are you saying? She is married, she didn't bring any...""You keep quiet! Stay out of this!" The old man contended that in a cold tone."But dad..." Sanaya's dad lowered his head and looked at his daughter. All his life he respected his dad, he couldn't talk back to him as he had honored him but today..."Today, you w
"How dare you! Take this brat out of here! I don't want to see her here!" In the dining room, the old man was so furious that he threw a glass of water at her face in resentment."Dad..." Sanaya's dad and uncle ran to Sanaya to check if she was ok. But Sanaya stood up on her own, she did not wait for another second. Not giving a d*mn she swerved away while saying, "I am ok. I will go back to my room." She wandered away.More than a month passed since she came back to India and since then she did what she wanted to do. Her grandpa got angry at her every day to the extent that he just wanted her to get married as soon as possible.Sanaya spend time with her beloved family, her parents, her uncle, and her brother who loved her. It was another night when she ignored Virat again and went to parties. In the night when everybody was sleeping, she came back home. Thinking everyone was sleeping, she walked toward the room where her grandpa was staying at."Come in!" Knocking at the door as the
Back to India"Young Miss? Is it really you?" Aunt Diya had been working here for such a long time. She was more like a family member than just a maid.Seeing Sanaya Diya couldn't hold onto her tears. She quickly hugged her and cried out, "You are finally back. Miss, we all missed you so much. How have been these past two years?""I have been good. How have you been?" The first she met after coming back here was Diya but she was eagerly waiting to see the one person whom she was so desperate to meet now."Diya, who's it... San." Hearing the familiar voice tone as Sanaya twirled her head, she saw her... Her mother. Without wasting any time she ran to her mom's hug. "Maa." On the way to her home from the LA she had thought of meeting her parents first, she missed them so much."San, it's you. You are finally back, my dear."The home she had once left knowing there was less possibility of her coming back here... Sanaya somehow couldn't feel that warmth from this house anymore. One by one
