34. The Nightmare

"DIYA"

I shouted at the top of my lungs, as I held the railing and looked onto the river.

Diya was nowhere to be found.

"My dear, dear brother. This is your fate. The girl you will love will die," Ranveer chuckled and started to laugh hysterically behind my back.

"No... This isn't possible," I immediately broke down into tears and starting to cry.

"Diya...! Diya...! Diya...!"

I kept on crying and panting when I suddenly opened my eyes. I was in my room. I got up and sat on the bed with a jerk.

"It was a dream," I panted.

I was sweating badly and I was totally panicked. It wasn't a dream, it was a freaking nightmare.

My breathing turned heavier than usual and I got up from the bed and started walking to and fro in my room to calm myself down, but it wasn't affecting me at all. I gulped down two glasses of water at once, but it was of no use yet again. I couldn't even figure out what to do anymore.

I looked at the clock, it was 1:00 am. I needed to see her. I needed to see her
