Cristiano

“Why are you in a club, Boss?” My brother, Luca asked as I strolled into the VIP section, slumping on the couch.

Boss was my code name in the underworld. I was referred to as boss cause I also put the family first, and never hesitate to kill anyone who stood as a threat.

“I need a new toy.” I informed with a smile that didn’t reach my eyes. “Our father killed Leo, remember?”

“Riz—“

“Save it, Luca. I won’t be needing your fucking advice today.” I snapped, cutting him off sharply as my eyes roamed the room. He was my advisor, and second in command. He wanted to cut off the mafia ties, but he was already born into it, and couldn’t possibly run away from the life.

“Dad will kill us both.” He sighed before sinking his weight in the couch. He was my father’s favorite, we all were in a twisted way.

“Don’t worry about him. Just enjoy the party.” I gave him a reassuring smile, rubbing my forehead. I hated loud music, and that’s why I avoided parties. But where could one possibly find the perfect toy like Leo? Leo was the longest I had ever had. He saved me the stress of finding fuck buddies who could warm my bed.

Damn you, Dad! I cursed in my head, throwing my head back on the couch.

“We need to leave soon, Riz.” Luca informed with a straight face, “remember we have dinner with the Hernandez?”

I hummed in response, but my mind was else where. I had no plans of marrying her, but Luca had convinced me to honor their invitation, and turn down their marriage proposal politely. That was the only way to avoid conflict. I was marrying Mia for stupid reasons. There was a plot against us—the two biggest family. The best way to strengthen our ties was to marry each other, and considering how much of a bastard my father was, he chose me.

“Here.” A soft voice spoke across the room, breaking my trance. His voice was calm. I snapped my eyes opening, staring at the man sitting far across me.

“Stop this, Ivan!” The girl opposite him scolded with a stern face, but his stubbornness was evident on his face. He had two women on his side, his hand resting right above one’s thigh, and his lips in the other’s neck.

Such a scandalous man. He had a straight face, mid length hair, his eyes were hazel, his lips pulp, and his skin, a little pale. He was slim just the way I liked. He will be a perfect little toy.

“Who’s he?” I asked with my eyes fixed on him. He was too busy, or maybe too high to notice my piercing gaze on his body. The room was dim, but his mischief shone brightly.

“Who?” Luca asked in confusion before following my gaze. “Is that Ivan?”

“Who’s Ivan?” I shot back, flickering my eyes to him.

“Your brother in law.” Luca teased, but I didn’t find the joke funny. So he was Mia’s brother?

“I’m surprised you don’t know him, Riz.” He commented, “Everyone in the city knows him for his reputation.”

“Reputation?” I asked with a twitching smile, “What sort of reputation does he have?”

He purses his lips on the air, massaging his chin, “He’s the Hernandez heir who loves partying. He was know for changing women like clothes. He was with different woman each night, spending his father’s fortune on them.” He explained, shaking his head.

I chuckled darkly, staring back at my new toy. He maybe a man whore, but I was confident I could get him on his knees.

I lowered my gaze on my watch, rising from the couch reluctantly. “We are going to be late.” I informed, walking off without waiting for Luca.

“Since when did you care about the appointment?” He asked catching up to me, “And did you see anyone you like?”

I ignored his question, getting into the car. He grumbled in irritation, sitting beside me, and shutting the door close.

“Where to?” The driver enquired, and Luca responded before the ignition started.

“Are you okay, Riz?” He asked, and I hummed in response, shutting my eyes with a smile playing on my lips.

Ivan Hernandez.

“We are here, sirs.” The driver announced, snapping me out of my trance. I pulled the door open, climbing out of the car. This is my first time in the Hernandez residence. My eyes landed on the falling body few meters away from me, and without a second thought, I hastily lunged forward, wrapping my arms around his waist before he hit the ground.

“I gotcha you, Ivan.” I whispered lowly, with a smile on my face. He stared at me with flushed face, and sleepy eyes. Was he high on drugs or alcohol?

“Mr Vito.” Carlos gave me an awkward smile as Ivan passed out on my arms. I knew Carlos because he was popular for his physical combat.

“Are you okay, boss?” Luca asked with a narrowed gaze. I nodded in response, scooping Ivan into my arms.

“Where’s his room?” I asked, and Carlos exchanged glance with a girl beside him.

“No, I will—“

I growled lonely, cutting him off. He clenched his fist before leading the way.

“What happened to Ivan?” The voice was genuine, but the expression was fake. A woman in her mid fifties asked as I walked into their mansion.

I didn’t bother responding, and kept walking behind Carlos who didn’t spare her a glance. He stopped in front of the room upstairs, pulling the door widely open.

“Leave.” I commanded, walking into the room with Luca trailing behind me. He disappeared as the words left my mouth.

“He’s off limits, brother.” Luca warned as I laid Ivan on the bed. I chuckled in response, sitting on the edge of the bed, and brushing his hair lightly.

“I want him.” I drawled, lowering my head down to his neck, “I must have him.” I kissed the crook of his neck with a tight smile.

“He’s a Hernandez. You can’t mess with their son, and get away with it. He’s straight, remember?” He said reasonably, but I didn’t care.

“I’m going to marry that bitch.” I spat bitterly, “and in return, he will become mine.”

“You are crazy.” Luca gritted out angrily, shaking his head in disbelief.

“Haven’t I always been?” I smiled sarcastically, pulling back reluctantly.

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 91

Cristiano Ever regretted a decision you took in life? Because I did. Not killing that bastard was my worst mistake. If only I had blown his fucking brains, Ivan wouldn't be in the emergency unit in the first place. He'd never have taken my man if I hadn’t been merciful towards the arrogant fool. “You need to rest, you’re wounded,” Luca suggested, patting my back. I exhaled, my heart pounding against my chest. Nothing could happen to him. They have been in the surgery room for hours without taking a break. How could I rest when Ivan was in there fighting for his life? He was hit near the heart for fuck sake. My wound was nothing compared to what he was going through right now.“Riz?” He called, shaking my arms to get my attention. I didn’t respond, shooting him a sideways glance. I wasn’t one for tears, but the thought of losing Ivan made my chest clench in pain till the point I couldn’t breathe. I needed to vent my anger on something, or someone. “You’re bleeding.” He nodded to my

LucaThe room was suffocating me, and my mom’s continuous calls were not helpful either. I shoved my phone into my pocket and walked out of the room to take a breather. I stood outside the door, the hair on my body rising with the feeling of being watched. I snapped my neck to the right, meeting an empty alley. Elio? He was the only one who would sneak peek at me. Annoying piece of shit. He could peak for as long as he doesn’t show his face to me again.I sighed, shaking the thoughts of the bastard off my head as I paced around the hallway, trying to suppress my anger. I sat on the waiting bench, throwing my head back on the wall and using my hands as support. Who knew babysitting Riz would be such a handful?“Who could it be this time?” I groaned in annoyance, taking out my phone from my pocket. The caller ID reflecting on my screen made me squint my eyes in confusion. Ivan was calling me? The only reason he would call would be because of Riz and last I checked, they weren't on goo

Ivan Whooshing sound of water. Footsteps. Chilly breeze. Where the fuck am I? My eyes tore open, meeting a room lit with candles around. Was this some ritual or what? Who the fuck still uses candles? I groaned, adjusting my eyes to the darkness as I tried to study my surroundings. The footsteps grew closer and a feminine voice approached me. I lay back, pretending to be asleep as the door creaked open. “Enjoying your beauty sleep?” I heard a voice near my ear, an oddly family one. Like I had heard it before. “Just what does Carlos see in you?” She muttered, stroking the back of my hair. Carlos? Why was she—right! That fucking idiot kidnapped me. “Such a pain in the ass.” She hissed, grumbling incoherent words as she moved to the other side of the bed. I parted an eye, stealing a glance to know who the bitch was, and my stomach churned as I saw a half-naked Lolita. “What the fuck?” I snapped, jerked from the bed. She jumped back in fear, her butt hitting the tiled floor. She groane

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 88

CarlosDriving through the streets, I thought of ways to skin him alive, laughing at each bizarre thought that crossed my mind. However, my excitement was cut short when I didn’t find him. His men wouldn’t let me in—orders from the boss, and claimed he wasn’t home. They could be lying, but they weren’t. I knocked them out to satisfy my curiosity and it was as they claimed—The asshole wasn’t home. Where could he have possibly gone? I gritted my teeth, slamming my hands on the steering wheel. Do I return or find the bastard wherever he is and take his life? Probably the latter. There were only two places he could be if he knew what happened with Ivan—my place or my uncle’s. I turned the car, speeding off to my apartment as my heart drummed against my chest. I lowered my gaze to the dashboard, picking up the gun.“Time to put you in your place.” I grinned, my eyes sparking with darkness. Soon, Ivan won’t remember that bastard’s face or name. I’ll become the only man he thinks of no mat

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 87

Luca Was this what they called karma? My ruthless brother everyone feared was lying in a sick bed. That was a sight his enemies would kill to see.“He’s fine now.” The doctor reassured, casting me a judgmental gaze. He must have seen me bring in my father and now Cristiano, both with bullet wounds. He had every right to be suspicious of my line of business. Normal people would pry, or better yet report to the police, but our family was well known and no one wanted to offend wealthy families for fear of getting crashed.“Thank you, Doc,” Elio muttered, patting my back. I scoffed, my glare burning into his face as he offered the doctor a saccharine smile, walking him through the doctor whilst discussing Riz's condition. He was acting more like the brother than I was. So damn annoying. I pulled a chair closer, staring at Riz’s pale face. It was a rare sight to see. He’s never been hospitalized before because as he would always say; I’m not an egg. I had yet to inform my mom about his c

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 86

CarlosThe door swung opened after a few knocks. “You brought him here?” Lolita, my girlfriend exclaimed, watching me drag him into her apartment. I hummed, slamming the doors shut as I brushed past her. I laid him on the sofa, adjusting his neck and his frail body. “Have you lost it, Carl?” She screamed, her voice high-pitched. I spun around, casting her a meaningful look before nodding in response. She snorted, stomping her feet on the floor in frustration. “You worry too much,” I muttered dismissively, glancing at Ivan as he stirred in his sleep. “He can’t wake up now.” I thought out loud, pulling out a sedative from my pocket. “What are you doing?” She questioned, her eyes widening in horror as I pressed a syringe to his neck. I don’t respond, my eyes set on the task in front of me. He whimpered in pain, trying to pry my hands off through his subconsciousness. I hissed annoyingly, watching his hands drop on their own and his body relaxing. “So persistent,” I muttered under my
