Cristiano

“Why are you in a club, Boss?” My brother, Luca asked as I strolled into the VIP section, slumping on the couch.

Boss was my code name in the underworld. I was referred to as boss cause I also put the family first, and never hesitate to kill anyone who stood as a threat.

“I need a new toy.” I informed with a smile that didn’t reach my eyes. “Our father killed Leo, remember?”

“Riz—“

“Save it, Luca. I won’t be needing your fucking advice today.” I snapped, cutting him off sharply as my eyes roamed the room. He was my advisor, and second in command. He wanted to cut off the mafia ties, but he was already born into it, and couldn’t possibly run away from the life.

“Dad will kill us both.” He sighed before sinking his weight in the couch. He was my father’s favorite, we all were in a twisted way.

“Don’t worry about him. Just enjoy the party.” I gave him a reassuring smile, rubbing my forehead. I hated loud music, and that’s why I avoided parties. But where could one possibly find the perfect toy like Leo? Leo was the longest I had ever had. He saved me the stress of finding fuck buddies who could warm my bed.

Damn you, Dad! I cursed in my head, throwing my head back on the couch.

“We need to leave soon, Riz.” Luca informed with a straight face, “remember we have dinner with the Hernandez?”

I hummed in response, but my mind was else where. I had no plans of marrying her, but Luca had convinced me to honor their invitation, and turn down their marriage proposal politely. That was the only way to avoid conflict. I was marrying Mia for stupid reasons. There was a plot against us—the two biggest family. The best way to strengthen our ties was to marry each other, and considering how much of a bastard my father was, he chose me.

“Here.” A soft voice spoke across the room, breaking my trance. His voice was calm. I snapped my eyes opening, staring at the man sitting far across me.

“Stop this, Ivan!” The girl opposite him scolded with a stern face, but his stubbornness was evident on his face. He had two women on his side, his hand resting right above one’s thigh, and his lips in the other’s neck.

Such a scandalous man. He had a straight face, mid length hair, his eyes were hazel, his lips pulp, and his skin, a little pale. He was slim just the way I liked. He will be a perfect little toy.

“Who’s he?” I asked with my eyes fixed on him. He was too busy, or maybe too high to notice my piercing gaze on his body. The room was dim, but his mischief shone brightly.

“Who?” Luca asked in confusion before following my gaze. “Is that Ivan?”

“Who’s Ivan?” I shot back, flickering my eyes to him.

“Your brother in law.” Luca teased, but I didn’t find the joke funny. So he was Mia’s brother?

“I’m surprised you don’t know him, Riz.” He commented, “Everyone in the city knows him for his reputation.”

“Reputation?” I asked with a twitching smile, “What sort of reputation does he have?”

He purses his lips on the air, massaging his chin, “He’s the Hernandez heir who loves partying. He was know for changing women like clothes. He was with different woman each night, spending his father’s fortune on them.” He explained, shaking his head.

I chuckled darkly, staring back at my new toy. He maybe a man whore, but I was confident I could get him on his knees.

I lowered my gaze on my watch, rising from the couch reluctantly. “We are going to be late.” I informed, walking off without waiting for Luca.

“Since when did you care about the appointment?” He asked catching up to me, “And did you see anyone you like?”

I ignored his question, getting into the car. He grumbled in irritation, sitting beside me, and shutting the door close.

“Where to?” The driver enquired, and Luca responded before the ignition started.

“Are you okay, Riz?” He asked, and I hummed in response, shutting my eyes with a smile playing on my lips.

Ivan Hernandez.

“We are here, sirs.” The driver announced, snapping me out of my trance. I pulled the door open, climbing out of the car. This is my first time in the Hernandez residence. My eyes landed on the falling body few meters away from me, and without a second thought, I hastily lunged forward, wrapping my arms around his waist before he hit the ground.

“I gotcha you, Ivan.” I whispered lowly, with a smile on my face. He stared at me with flushed face, and sleepy eyes. Was he high on drugs or alcohol?

“Mr Vito.” Carlos gave me an awkward smile as Ivan passed out on my arms. I knew Carlos because he was popular for his physical combat.

“Are you okay, boss?” Luca asked with a narrowed gaze. I nodded in response, scooping Ivan into my arms.

“Where’s his room?” I asked, and Carlos exchanged glance with a girl beside him.

“No, I will—“

I growled lonely, cutting him off. He clenched his fist before leading the way.

“What happened to Ivan?” The voice was genuine, but the expression was fake. A woman in her mid fifties asked as I walked into their mansion.

I didn’t bother responding, and kept walking behind Carlos who didn’t spare her a glance. He stopped in front of the room upstairs, pulling the door widely open.

“Leave.” I commanded, walking into the room with Luca trailing behind me. He disappeared as the words left my mouth.

“He’s off limits, brother.” Luca warned as I laid Ivan on the bed. I chuckled in response, sitting on the edge of the bed, and brushing his hair lightly.

“I want him.” I drawled, lowering my head down to his neck, “I must have him.” I kissed the crook of his neck with a tight smile.

“He’s a Hernandez. You can’t mess with their son, and get away with it. He’s straight, remember?” He said reasonably, but I didn’t care.

“I’m going to marry that bitch.” I spat bitterly, “and in return, he will become mine.”

“You are crazy.” Luca gritted out angrily, shaking his head in disbelief.

“Haven’t I always been?” I smiled sarcastically, pulling back reluctantly.

Luca “Honey…”My mother wrapped her hands around my body, tears wetting the thin layer of material I had on. I let out a deep breath, slowly pushing her back. “If you missed me that much, why didn’t you look for me?” I asked in mockery, glancing at my father. He wore a sullen look, but I knew it wasn’t for me. It was for his other son lying in a sick bed. “We did, but—“But you couldn’t find me?” I cut her off, arching a brow. She doesn’t respond, looking down in guilt. I laughed blankly, rolling my eyes. They were spouting nonsense! There was no way they hadn’t known where I’ve been for weeks now. My father exhaled, stepping forward with his mouth parted to speak. “Son—“Don’t do that, father.” I cut him off, raising my hand in the air. “I don’t want to hear your apology. At least not now.” I spat in anger. I thought I had gotten over this, but I was just deluding myself. They had to know how much they hurt me with their words, especially my father. If guilt-trapping them would m

Ivan Council leader? More like a council nightmare. I couldn’t remember a thing that happened in the meeting except for the fact that I shot Tiano. I was shit scared, scared of losing him. I would lose my sanity if the bullet kills him. How would I live with myself knowing he died because of me? Do I let go of the past, and forgive my Dad for his deception? Fucking no! I can’t forgive him. He killed my mother and hid under the guise of a superhero who rescued me from death. He has to suffer for what he’s done, and what’s a bigger revenge than watching him slowly fade away? It was only a matter of time before the poison started acting up. “Ivan!” Mia half yelled, her eyebrows drawn together in confusion. I snapped my neck her direction, my lips pressed together. When did we get home? I must have spaced out for a while. “What do you want?” I asked with no emotion in my eyes. She’s been cozying up to me, and I have yet to find out why. Had she learned the truth about her parents and

Cristiano I’ve played dead longer than I planned for. Ivan hasn’t been home for a week, and I was losing my sanity. I didn’t know what to make of his disappearance and definitely didn’t want to ruin his plan. Worst? The little shithead was ignoring my calls, and text messages. “I’m sure he’s fine,” Matilda muttered, flashing me a reassuring smile. I exhaled slowly, nodding in agreement. She was in my space every day, and it was getting tiring, but I didn’t complain. Because deep down, she made me feel that motherly love I haven’t felt for decades. “Something is wrong,” I muttered under my breath. The plan was to get everyone to believe I was dead to free Carlos from Ivan’s father, however, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Ivan wasn’t honest with me. “Maybe he’s busy…” She offered with pressed lips, and I shook my head. He’s doing this intentionally, and I didn't know what to make of his actions. He thinks I would let him go if he acts like a brat? Or had his father brainwash

Ivan Standing in front of my dad with fake tears streaming down my chin, and a tissue in one arm to wipe off invisible snot from my nose. My dad wrapped his arms around my body, patting my back as he whispered soothing words. “You don’t need to be sad.” He mumbled with a mock concern as he stared at me. “With him out of the picture, you have everything to yourself now.” He laughed, patting my head as though I were a dog. I blinked back the tears, my jaw dropping to the floor. “You killed him?” I asked with an accusatory gaze, my body vibrating in rage. “Cristiano was dead, and you think I care about some stupid empire you plan to build?” I scoffed, my voice growing louder with fury. Was he truly dead? Of course not! That was the plan. To make my dad believe that Tiano was gone and Carlos was responsible for his death. It was the only way to free him from my father’s hold. Tiano’s parents were in the plan with us, and made the public announcement of ‘Tiano’s demise’. Evidence of

Luca“Baby?” Elio called out, his heavy steps echoing in the silence. I raised my head, staring into the darkness. He turned the lights on, his eyes searching each corner before landing on me. “Are you okay?” He asked with a scowl, taking slow strides. I shook my head, forcing a smile on my lips. He paused, studying my expression before crunching to the ground. “Did someone hurt you?” He whispered, stretching his arms, but I flinched back, resting my head on the closet door with my knees pulled up to my chin. He sighed, a look of defeat etched on his face. “You’re still disgusted by me?” He asked with a pained expression. Each time I backed away from his touch, it bruised his ego. However, it was different this time. I wasn’t flinching in disgust, far from it. I was ashamed of my actions over the past years. “What do you think?” I asked with a sad smile, inhaling sharply. His scowl deepened, but he didn't push the matter further. “Did you cry?” He changed the subject, tilting his

CristianoDay three of Ivan’s recovery, and the uneasiness in my gut had yet to subside. Why are you staring?” Ivan asked, his cheeks tinted red, as he slapped my arm. I smiled, shaking my head in response. He narrowed his eyes in suspicion, raising his back from the bed with difficulty. “Why? Want to fuck?” He offered, and I chuckled, my eyes glinting in amusement. I often forgot he was a freak, and could ask for sex in a sick bed. “Is that what you want?” The color of my lips twitched as he snorted, shaking his head in denial. Three weeks without having to hear his serene voice, and those denials each second he wants me. “I just missed you, Tesoro.” I breathed out, rubbing the back of his hand in circular motions. He laughed, slapping his hand over mine. However, it was far from missing him, but the uneasiness his father’s words gave me. A mission he had to achieve, and I ended up messing it up? I always saw Ivan as a saint who couldn’t hurt a fly, but the moment the base was se
