Kael’s POV

A wide smile curved up my lips as I rushed forward and pulled her in for a hug. I wrapped my arms tightly around her, scared that she would slip away if I held her any less.

She was here—safe and sound.

I had thought I lost her... thought I wouldn’t see her again.

For a moment, nothing else mattered. Not the tension in the air, not the pack members that surrounded us, and not even my father’s angry and irritating gaze that burnt into my back.

We stayed in that moment of embr

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   The Secret That Broke Me

Kael’s POV “Alpha Kael, I’m sorry to say this, but the chances of Luna Aria getting pregnant again is very slim.” Lea’s words hit me hard, like a blow to the face. “What?” She lowered her head, gently removing her glasses, placing them carefully on the desk before her. “It seems like someone had deliberately fed her drugs that aren't meant for pregnant women. We discovered traces of them in her system while we were trying to stabilize her. The drugs caused extensive damage to her womb.” I swallowed hard, my fingers curling into a fist. I didn’t need her to mention a name because I already knew who did this. Vivienne. The realization made my stomach churn violently. What happens now?” I asked hoarsely. “Is there any chance that she might conceive again with time?” Lea sighed. “We've done everything we can. Whether her body fully recovers remains uncertain. Only time will tell. And with the help of the Moon Goddess, nothing is impossible.” I nodded and swallowed hard sim

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   The Three Unfinished Words

Kael’s POVI let out a bitter laugh, finding it hard to believe what she had said.“You’re joking, right?” I asked. “You didn’t do what I think you did, did you?”Vivienne merely smiled, and Moon Goddess, that smile was enough to tell me everything. My face turned pale instead, fury radiating through my body.““You...” I whispered, and before I knew it, I had closed the gap between us, my wolf stirring violently as I wrapped my fingers around her neck and raised her in the air.“Kael!” Vivienne’s eyes widened as she gasped for breath; her nails digging painfully into my skin, but they had nothing on me.“How dare you!” I growled, my grip tightening around her neck. For the first time since I had known her, I saw real fear in Vivienne's eyes.“Kael... Please... let me... go. I... can’t breathe,” she choked out, her legs kicking helplessly in the air. But her suffering meant nothing to me. Not when Aria was lying in the hospital, not when my child was fighting for his life because of he

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   The Score Has Been Settled

Kael’s POV After that day, Vivienne became her old self again. She laughed and smiled more. The tension between us gradually vanished. Every time she spoke about the future, she spoke as though Aria, and the child no longer existed. As though they were already gone. A week passed and Vivienne never mentioned the matter again. I thought the storm had stayed still for a while, but little did I know that beneath a silent woman, countless schemes were already taking shape. As the days flew by, Aria’s due date drew closer. And the more it drew, the more a strange feeling settled in my chest. For a reason I didn’t know, my mind kept drifting back to Aria. I kept feeling the urge to be by her side. And that annoyed me a lot. Every time I caught myself thinking about her, I would force my attention elsewhere. Work, Pack matters, Vivienne, Anything. Yet somehow, my thoughts always found their way back to her. Sometimes, I would wonder if she was eating properly. Other times, I would re

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   A Deal with the Devil

Kael’s POV Under the pretense that I was going to do what she had requested, Vivienne and I came back together. I barely went home and would go straight to the cabin each day I left the office and spent the night in her embrace. I did all I could to please her and make her happy once again. Whatever she wanted was done, even before she asked for it. When she had requested that she was tired of us meeting in the cabin and would love to move into the pack house, I didn't even hesitate. I had gone home that same evening and told my family that there would be a need for us to move out of the pack house since it’s a place filled with unpleasant memories. None of them argued with me. Mother agreed immediately. Cassandra was still recovering at the time and didn't seem interested in where we lived. As for Aria, she said absolutely nothing. She simply sat there quietly, her gaze lowered to her plate while everyone discussed moving arrangements. I remember staring at her for a moment a

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   The Call He Never Picked

Aria’s POVThe day I was discharged, I headed back home with the hope that at least, I would get some time to be alone and relieve myself of the hurt and guilt I had been carrying for days. But the reverse was the case. The moment I stepped my feet into that house, marked the day my real nightmare began.I thought being maltreated couldn’t be worse than the way I had been mistreated by Luna Beatrice when Alpha Lucas was alive, but I was wrong. Because with my two biggest supporters, Alpha Lucas and Lucian, out of the picture, the torment became unbearable. The moment I stepped into the living room and Luna Beatrice saw me, she landed a slap across my face. The force of it sent me stumbling backward.“How dare you walk in here freely like you haven’t ruined my family?” she barked, her eyes blazing with fire.I stared at her in shock, my cheek burned as though it was being set on fire.“Mother…” I called, but before I could finish my statement, she cut me off.“Don’t call me that! I’m no

  • His Luna by Mistake, A Mother by Fate   The Man Who Would Always Come

Aria’s POVI spent one week at the hospital, before I was finally discharged. Even though we were all in the same hospital, I couldn’t go check up on Kael and see how he was fairing as Silas had warned me against roaming about.“We don’t want anyone to know that you’re here, Luna. So, I would advise you to stay in your room until you are discharged. If you are in need of anything, you can just call me, and I’ll bring it for you right away.”So, I kept suppressing my urge to go see Kael. Silas kept me updated. When Luna Beatrice woke up, he told me. Kael’s fight with Lucian when he wanted to stay by Vivienne’s side, he told me everything. And how Kael had stayed by Vivienne’s side day and night, I was aware of it all.I kept calling Kael, hoping to hear only his voice and ask him if he was okay, but he never picked up my call. Each day, I would keep my phone by my side, staring at it, anticipating for him to return my calls, but he never did.But a day came when I couldn’t suppress my
