47-Confrontation

Ted's POV

“What do you want to do, Boss?” Bill asks, after the ladies tell us what happened with Daisy.

I sit back in my chair, still trying to understand what I am hearing.

“Are we sure she isn’t talking about Carl’s parents?” I ask Crystal.

“I wish,” Crystal wipes a tear away. “Daisy only calls my mom Grandma.”

“Get Grant and Melissa in here,” I order Bill, who moves quickly. “Any idea where these ideas came from?”

Crystal clears her throat. “Mom came from Waterman pack; it's how she was raised.”

“What about you?” Sabrina asks, holding my hand.

“Luna,” Crystal says directly to Sabrina. “You earned my respect. I would have given it to you anyway, but you didn’t need it given to you. I would never in a million years think my mother would turn my daughter that way.”

“You know I can’t go easy,” I remind Crystal.

Crystal nods, before making the most bizarre request ever.

“I need Daisy to be there when she dies,” Crystal tells us as we all go wide eyed.
