BOOK 2 -Huntress Raised by Wolves

Hello, My name is Sophie. I’m just a human girl raised by my mom and my stepdad. So what’s the point of telling a story, well, my human mom is a Luna! If you don’t know what that is, it’s kinda like a queen in my stepdad’s world. See he is kinda a King, called an Alpha.

King of what you ask? Well, he is the king of about 1500 werewolves! Yep they exist and they aren’t like the Howling Movies, well maybe the sex part. Werewolves have a lot of sex. Like tons and tons. It’s a little gross actually.

So how did I get a werewolf stepdad? Well, my parents had me in high school. My dad didn’t stick around, in fact he was long gone. My mom did the whole single mom thing until she was 21 when she meet my stepdad. He rushed her, kissed her, and yelled “MINE!” To the shock of well everyone in ear shot.

Seems that his mate died giving him my step-brother Zach and my mom is his second chance.

So before you think “oh the pack must treat the human child horrible.”

Nope! I’m treated as a princess! If you didn’t know about werewolves you would think Alpha was my bio dad. The pack adopted me as their own.

All I have to do is not tell the secret that werewolves are real. I can do that.

And before you start with “oh I bet Zach is her mate.”

Nope! Zach found his mate on his birthday.

Now it wasn’t perfect, but he found Krista. Krista is, well was, the best friend of Daisy who was dating Zach. So a little drama happpened when Zach dropped Daisy like a hot potato (literally dropped her they were having sex standing in a closet and he dropped her) and rushed her friend Krista.

And before you start in thinking Krista treats me bad, stop. Krista is going to be the best freaking Luna. I think she will be better than my mom. Her only hang up is she is mated to her best friend’s boyfriend, well ex boyfriend. Zach would never give up his fated mate, nor will he hurt her, nor will he allow her to be disrespected.

Zach and Krista are working on getting over the whole Daisy thing. Not that it stopped them from mating, I mean holy crap, those two were locked up in Zach’s room for two days! The Omegas brought food to the door and once I saw a naked Zach pull the tray in. Eewwww.

“Sorry kid,” was all he said slamming the door.

But that is how it is with new mates. Mom and Ted, Alpha, were the same. Zach and I were actually sent to stay with his friend Tony’s family floor for the weekend. We were three, we put two and two together when we were like twelve. Ewwwww.

What’s a family floor? Well, we live in a Packhouse. The top floor is for the Alpha Family, that’s us, and our little sister Sueanna. She is adorable.

Am I spoiled by Dad? Yes I am, I got a car for the my sixteenth, I have a credit card with no limit, and I pretty much get away with anything. And Sueanna is no different. She is only five, but yeah, we are his princesses and our mates better treat us as such or face our daddy.

Tony’s dad Bill is the Beta. I remember thinking Bill the Beta how original, when I met him. I was three give me a break. They live in the floor below us.

Tony and Zach are best buds, and they include me in everything that doesn’t involve them getting laid. I want no part of that, I suck as a ‘wingman.’ But they do take me to parties. Football games, clubs, pretty much everywhere. I just disappear when they start flirting. Of course this was before Zach found his mate.

Below the Beta floor is Gamma family. Crystal and Carl. Crystal is the Gamma and Carl is her mate. Their daughter, technically the next Gamma, is Daisy. Yeah same Daisy, Zach was dating. Meals in the dining room are a little tense at times, but that is what we have Tony for. He is our constant comic relief.

Then there are two floors of single and young couple Warriors. The second floor is game and theater rooms, and the first floor is meeting rooms and the dining room, which is massive!

During most meals normally we “Heirs” sat together and our parents either sit together or sit among the warriors.

Daisy has been sitting at our table as she always has thank the goddess for Tony! He will defuse the tension in a heartbeat. Usually with gossip of outrageous proportions. Or a declaration of love and devotion to the closest she-wolf. Sometimes me if everyone needs a major reaction.

Tony is tough, he can best anyone except Zach in a fight. However, Tony is always joking around. I was kinda hoping he would be Daisy’s mate. That would fix just about everything.

So me, I was dating a human. Makes sense, I’m human and the chances of me having a mate were slim to none. Notice I’m using past tense, well that’s because of last night. My birthday was yesterday and well……
