Chapter 36

Lugh POV

My sister had informed me of her vision of Onara Eardwulf and exactly where I needed to be. She was younger than I expected and a little naive. It was clear she had no idea of her heritage and her strength. I could feel the bindings on her and hear the whispers of magic under her skin. Poor thing. I hope it didn’t hurt her.

She was quite a beauty; she has long wavy light brown hair, rosy cheeks and hazel eyes with gold flakes in them. I knew instantly the gold flakes were the trace of magic.

Once we reached the bus stop, I took her hand and walked her towards the edge of the village to a Tudor style house that I had been renting whilst in Kent. Our grandparents originated from Ireland and after the death of my parents, my sister and I relocated to Hampshire. We lived in the New Forest area in a small witch community due to the readily available herbs and wildlife.

As we entered the front door Willow gazed around and looked fearful of the dried lavender hanging by the door.
