Best Birthday ever (Part two)

After I healed Piper’s friend, Liam offered to let them rest in our room. We’ll leave the door open, so they can leave if they like to. It’s late in the afternoon now, and I have spent a good few hours or so on this. I turn to Liam, who is sitting behind me still, and apologize. This is his birthday, and I spent all afternoon completely engrossed in my healing. He tells me to not apologize, and he has been fascinated seeing someone do magic like this. Cinanna agrees with her son, and they both tell me how much of a good job I’ve done.

Piper supports her friend, so he can get up, and they ask if they can stay in a corner in the living room instead of walking the stairs right now. Liam says it’s fine, and gets up to get some comfy blankets on the floor for them. I tear up at how considered he is.
