"I told you she had nothing to hide, Mason." I said, sitting across from him at his big oak desk. "You're really going to say I told you so right now?" He asked. I shrugged and picked at my nails. He sighed and sat on the corner of the desk in front of me. I didn't look up at him as he began shuffling through papers. I had a thought and looked at him until he noticed my gaze. "Yes?" He quizzed. "We could take care of her." I said. He arched one of his brows at my suggestion and looked back down at his papers without a response. My eyebrows furrowed at his action and I stood from the chair I sat in. I went to the same side of his desk that he sat and sat on the desk next to his papers. He let out a long breath. "What are you thinking?" I asked, knowing there was something he was not saying. Again he said nothing and I knew he was thinking something I wouldn't like, so he was pleading the fifth. I crossed my arms. "Come on, whatever it is. Out with it." I
Mason has been much better about the two kids. He has been active with them in most ways. I tuck them in at night but Mason plays football or something with them outside when he can, or goes places with us when he's not busy. He'll make them lunch and I serve it to them. They practically inhale every dish they're given. Right now it's half past nine at night and Mason and I still have not slept. I can't seem to stop kissing him and he does not seem to mind at all. I wrap my leg around him and I can sense where this is taking us. "Should we.. I mean do you want to... Like-" He cut me off by putting a finger to my lips. He nodded and picked my leg up higher, positioning himself on top of me. I smiled brightly, ready for this. His eyes were changing back and forth from black and back to normal. I offered my neck to him and he took a gulp of air. I smirked, looking up at him through hooded eyes. I wanted our wolves to be connected as well this first time that we had sex. I
Turns out the spending cap on the card was far more than I thought it would be. We swiped for food and then went shopping and each of us had three big bags of stuff from our spree. I got the kids in the car and went to walk to the driver's seat when someone caught my hand. I turned swiftly, taking my hand away from the stranger. "Excuse me." I said."I'm sorry, it's just, are you Alpha Mason's Luna?" The guy asked."Soon-to-be." I answered. I saw other men watching our interaction and the hairs on the back of my neck raised. This parking lot was behind a diner that was meant for breakfast and we were eating there at lunch time. No one was around and the parking lot was tucked away behind the building placed outside of town. The man in front of me smiled a crooked smile that made my stomach twist. "I'm afraid we're going to have to take you with us then." He sneered and went to grab my arm. I grabbed his arm and twisted until I heard a pop and tried to get in the car. Another grabb
Iris and i had been captured for days. At least three. There was a small window high up on the wall in the basement dungeon, whatever we were stuck in. That window was the only way that I could keep track of the days. Even so, I was starting to lose track with the small amount of food they give us day to day and the amount of times i had been shocked since day one. I wont even attempt to count how many times that has happened. I heard the heavy metal door slide against the floor again and looked over at Iris. The chains were having a huge affect on her. She is young so the silver would not only hurt her but make her so weak that all she can do is sleep. I figured that was best to let her sleep unless it was time to eat or if they were dragging us to the bathroom in the corner. "And here are my two favorite girls. Despite their dirty dog odor." The tattooed man who always comes in smiled creepily. "Are you starting a collection of mutts, Chase?" The visitor questioned.
I sat in the pack hospital on the patient bed with a thin patient robe on. They had to give me fluids and some food in my system. Along with some other doctorate things. Even though I was in pretty bad shape, all I could think about was Iris and if she was awake. If she was feeling better. Her room was right next to mine. Mason has been switching back and forth between rooms to keep an eye on us both. Right now he was going to get a coffee for himself. We had been here for about six hours with all the testing and fluids and other things. I didn't care, I wanted Aaron and Iris in my arms. Aaron wasn't allowed in my room until I was tested for everything. I understood, but I still just wanted him with me now. I laid back and Mason stood up, looking down at me. He smiled a small, crooked smile and put his hand on the nape of my neck, rubbing slowly. "She's going to be alright." He soothed. "And what if she isn't? She got out of the car to protect me. I should have prote
That night, I stood outside on the balcony that is connected to Mason and I's bedroom. Mason and Aaron lay sleeping in our large bed. My worries kept me from blissful slumber, not to mention the nightmares. Nightmares of what did, could have, and may happen to Iris. I looked up at the moon and sighed, my breathe a fog in the cold air. I called to my wolf, needing her just at the surface to connect with the moon goddess. Inhuman nails, eyes, and teeth came out but I stopped my wolf there. I breath in the cold night air and exhale slowly, repeating a few times. Once my negative thoughts were gone, I began speaking to the moon Goddess. "Please, please, i beg of you. Don't take her from me... Not like this, not at all please. She is not suppose to die first.... Please, they are all I have left, let me be there for them... and them for me. You gave me a mate, you gave me apiece of my pack back. I'll give it all back if it means she lives! I'll give it all back to you! Don't
2 Weeks Later I lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling of our bedroom. Mason was close to me, his breath fanning my neck. Aaron was snuggled into my side, snorting every once in a while from his violent snores. I would have gotten up by now but between Mason's arm across my waist and not wanting to leave them, I had no chance. The landline next to our bed rang and I had to fight Mason's large sleeping form just to reach over him and grab it. He growled in his sleep and I rolled my eyes, my boobs in his face as I grasped the phone. I saw it was the hospital and sat upright in a haste. Both the boys woke and spun around, looking for what was wrong. I paid no mind to them and answered the phone. "Hello?" I spoke. "Hello, Luna. This is the Doctor . I was calling in regard to Iris. She is now stable and should be waking up shortly. I wanted to inform you so you would be here. I would like to speak to both of you once you get here." The docto
Mason and I entered Iris's room to see Manny and Jason sitting on either side of her bed. She was smiling as she talked to them. Jason has been here a few days ago but Manny has been away for a few weeks. I was surprised to see him. He stood and Mason pulled him into a hug. The two brothers looked like two tree trunks slamming together and I smiled. Manny hugged me as well and kissed my head. Jason gave us hugs as well and we walked them out. We filled them in and they were quiet as we stood in the hall. "So she loses either way." Manny concludes. We nodded. "She's strong guys. I bet she'll be stronger than most in the pack even without it." Jason said honestly. Mason smiled and nodded. "Oh and Mason. There are some issues that need to be dealt with as soon as possible. I think... well I'll tell you about it later." Manny stuttered. My brows drew together as the two had a private conversation in their minds. Jason looked at me, knowing what was happening but wouldn't say a word.
