ELSA'S POV:

My second day here and it hasn't been eventful except for the kiss with Ezekiel the previous day.

I was adjusting to the life of a maid though it was hard to.

Glancing at the container in my hand, I hissed in anger.

“I wonder how long I have to take this drug?” I mumbled and threw a tablet into my mouth.

The sour taste passed through my throat and I cringed, shaking my head vehemently.

I couldn't believe that I have to go this low to complete my mission. Taking a drug that will disguise me as an omega because I wouldn't want Alpha Nathan to find out I was the daughter of Alpha Damien of Crest Lake Pack.

“Are you sick?” Mina's startled me and I quickly hid the container by my side and smiled at her.

“I should have some privacy.” I voiced and Mina nodded, apologizing instantly. “I knocked but you didn't answer though. And I was worried because you were taking so much time in here.”

“It's fine.” I mumbled and stylishly hid the container and smiled at her. “Why are you here?”

“Your master is home.” She announced with a teasing tone.

I rolled my eyes. “Thank you.” With that I turned towards the door to leave preparing to drag her along.

“His girlfriend is here as well.”

My hand hung in the air as well as my mouth hanging open as I blinked twice.

“How come I missed all that?” Was the only appropriate question I could ask at the moment because I didn't want to give myself away.

“I mean how could you know? Do you know how long you've been hiding me inside this place? It seems to me you're not taking your job seriously.” She said jokingly, and my lips twitched upwards in amusement, hiding further my disdain.

"How in the world would I complete my mission with his girlfriend around?" I battled in my mind as I thought of a possible way I could go about the situation without dragging Ezekiel's girlfriend through the mud.

"Stop standing there, go do your job." Mina declared and nudged me forward with a gentle push.

With my mind traveling so many miles at once, I stumbled towards Ezekiel's chambers.

As soon as my hand connected with the door knob, it opened and I came face to face with a gorgeous looking girl, younger than I. She had dark hair with strands of gold framing her beautiful face and an ocean blue eyes that complimented her perfectly.

Her attire was all back, from hair band to her sneakers. She had this villain vibe from movies.

"Who are you?" She questioned suspiciously, narrowing her eyes on me and at the same time blocking my entrance into the room.

"My maid, Rue. Let her in." I heard Ezekiel say.

"You have a maid now?" Rue asked, turning her back on me.

"Yes, I do." He said simply like he was tired of the discussion.

“And you didn't think I'm supposed to know, Zeke?" Her words echoed, piercing through the silence. I could also sense the hurt in her voice and suddenly I felt guilty.

"This maid here is about to take your man away," I said to myself.

"Sorry Babe, it slipped off my mind." Ezekiel apologized, coming towards her with a smile. My heart twitched and I clenched my fist. He didn't even spare me a glance and whatever guilty I felt a moment ago disappeared without a trace.

"Am I jealous?" I thought bitterly. I shouldn't be because I wasn't permitted to have any feeling attached to him. The instruction was for Ezekiel to fall for me, not the other way around.

"Snap out of it." I scolded myself silently, pushing the thoughts aside.

"You're forgiven." I heard and looked up to see Rue and Ezekiel locked in an embrace. I pulled my lips in disgust and looked away, rolling my eyes as well.

"See you later then." Rue mouthed and brushed past me, causing me to stumble on my feet. Ezekiel's hand came around my back, stopping me from falling.

“Are you okay?” He asked, his gaze softening like he was looking at something so delicate. My mouth slightly opened but I found myself saying nothing, only giving a faint nod. As our eyes locked on each other, he pulled me closer to himself, our bodies pressed together. His hands left my back and settled on my waist, causing my heart to quicken.

"You left me hanging last night." Ezekiel breathed in and leaned forward, "are you trying to seduce me or something, Elsa?"

“You’re the one who is seducing me." I whispered softly and just like where ice water is deposited on a burning coal, the lingering feeling between us vanished. He let go of me immediately like I was some sort of plague and cleared his throat.

"Clean my room, run my bath and get my dress ready. I have a party to attend." As soon as he dished out the instruction, he was gone leaving the room empty of his presence and a hollow feeling lingering around.

******

Waiting patiently in the corner of Ezekiel's room, I watched as Rue threw herself all over him and he allowed it. The stolen kisses, giggling, helping him dressed up was all making my blood boil. I hated the fact that I had to watch all these.

I see no reason he would want me to be in the room when I was done attending to his needs. Does being his maid mean I would watch all these?

"Yike!" I mumbled and shot several dagger stares in their direction.

"Here!" Ezekiel's voice shot towards my direction. He was handling a red dress towards me.

"Go change in this, we leave in five minutes."

Without a word, I picked the dress and was about to leave when his voice stopped me. "Change in my bathroom."

I nodded and did as I was told.

"She is going with us?" I heard Rue asked in all displeasures.

"Yes, she is my personal maid and wherever I go, she goes." Ezekiel said not mincing words which got me scoffing. Dude wants to torture me. Maybe he thought I was falling for him.

By the time I was out of the bathroom, Rue was nowhere to be found. I guess she left. It was a breath of fresh air to see just him in the room.

"You look too happy to see just me." I caught the smirk in his face as I forced a smile.

"I'm only a maid, how can such a thing make me happy?" I tried to play it cool but he chuckled. "Red looks good on you."

He took a long stroll to where I stood and lowered me gently on a chair I hadn't taken notice of.

With all gentleness, he slid my legs into a pair of black flat shoes, running his fingers on my delicate skin afterwards. I shivered slightly from his touch and bit down on my lower lip.

Smiling devilishly, he stood up and strengthened his shirt.

"Let's go!”

EZEKIEL'S POV:“Of course, I’m late again!” a voice boomed, and I didn’t need anyone to tell me it was Alpha Clementino from Shadow City, my father’s acquaintance. He was infamous for being late to every gathering, whether at my father's place or elsewhere. It was amusing, really, considering we never quite clicked despite him being an acquaintance of Father.“Ah, my good friend!” my father exclaimed, his smile wide as he greeted Clementino. After a few pleasantries, he joined the rest of the guests at the table.Once I had eaten my fill, I decided to escape the table and mingle with the other attendees.Suddenly, Mariel appeared beside me, her expression serious. She raised her wine glass to mine and took a long sip before handing the empty glass to a passing waiter.“I’m really disappointed, you know,” she said, her voice tinged with frustration.“Why are you disappointed?” I asked, my gaze drifting to Chris and Dylan chatting at the far end of the hall.“I’m about to leave this eve

EZEKIEL'S POV:“Are you okay, man?” Chris asked, worry etched on his face as he approached me. We were at the bar in the castle, trying to unwind with a drink.I shook my head, letting out a heavy sigh as I lifted my glass of vodka. The harsh burn of the liquor hit my throat, making me groan in discomfort.“My Wolf has been restless, and I don’t know why,” I muttered, avoiding his gaze. With a comforting hand on my shoulder, Chris smiled. “I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about,” he reassured me. But even with his words, an unsettling feeling gnawed at me, refusing to let go.“I know how to lift your spirits,” he suddenly exclaimed, his grin wide and infectious. I raised an eyebrow, curious. “And what would that be?”He chuckled softly and settled onto the stool beside me, swirling his own drink. My patience was wearing thin.“Elsa,” he whispered, his eyes sparkling with excitement.A smile tugged at my lips, but it faded just as quickly. I hadn’t seen Elsa all afternoon.“Um…”Whatever

  • His Mate, His Seductress    The Famous Elsa

ELSA’S POV:I jolted awake, my head pounding and my mind clouded as I struggled to figure out where I was. My eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness around me. As I became fully aware, the darkness began to lift.A low grunt escaped my lips as I hissed in pain. My hands and legs were tied, and a strip of black tape sealed my mouth shut. I was sitting on the cold floor, and the room was empty and deserted, reeking of rotten food. Anger surged through me, overwhelming my confusion."Who on earth would want to kidnap me?" I thought, panic rising as I tried to wriggle free from my restraints.Suddenly, the door to the empty room flew open, and two men in black walked in, sizing me up with cold, emotionless stares. They stopped right in front of me, and then another man followed closely behind. He wore a tailored black suit that emphasized his broad shoulders and muscular build. A crisp white shirt and black tie completed his effortlessly confident look. His dark hair was perfectly styled, a

  • His Mate, His Seductress    Shopping

ELSA'S POV:The day passed slowly, with nothing much happening. I kept my distance from Rue and Ezekiel, and thankfully, Ezekiel didn’t ask me to wait on him. Maybe he was avoiding me too, or perhaps he felt guilty about what he did to me. But honestly, I doubted he ever felt guilty.I couldn’t even tell if he had any real feelings for me anymore.“Since you’re free, come help us in the kitchen,” Mina called from the doorway, arms crossed, studying me.“I don’t have to,” I mumbled, irritation bubbling up inside me.“Well, you do. Ms. Bennett said we need all hands on deck,” she replied, stepping into my room.“The Castle is hosting a small gathering for some of the most important men in the Pack,” she added, reaching for my hair. I instinctively dodged her touch.“Why am I always the last to know what’s happening in the Castle?” I complained, frustration evident in my voice.“It’s because your only business here is with Ezekiel. Besides, maids in this Castle don’t gossip, so you won’t

ELSA'S POV:The ringing sound in the background pulled me from my restless sleep. I groaned and blinked my eyes open, desperately searching for my phone.“Damn it,” I muttered under my breath, trying to control the wave of anger bubbling up inside me.“Mr. Graham?” I mumbled as soon as I answered the call.“Elsa?” His voice was tense, making me sit up straight. Every muscle in my body protested from the ache of spending the night kneeling in the cold.“How’s everything going?” He asked.“Great,” I lied, forcing a cheerful tone despite the despair clawing at me. I had just been allowed to rest and instructed to sleep for a while, a command from Ezekiel that still stung.“Okay, just checking in. Don’t forget to take your pills,” he said, and before I could even respond, he hung up.I let out a heavy sigh, the weight of frustration crashing down on me as I pulled myself out of bed. The wall clock flashed at 9 a.m.—I was late for my morning duties. After changing into my uniform, I dragge

EZEKIEL'S POV:“Babe!” Rue’s voice called out as soon as I slid into the car. Elyse still hadn’t returned. I rolled my eyes and turned to face her. She looked stunning in a black dress, wearing the rose necklace I had given her for our anniversary last year.“I’m coming with you,” she announced cheerfully as she climbed in, completely oblivious to the anger radiating from me.“Rue, you’re not going anywhere with me,” I said firmly, my eyes warning her to back off.“Why not?” she pouted. “I’m your girlfriend,” she added, clinging to my arm. I tried to shake her off, but she wouldn’t let go. “If you don’t take me with you, I’ll go straight to Father’s chambers and tell him everything,” she threatened, fully aware that dragging Father into this was the last thing I wanted.“Fine,” I muttered, shoving her away. “You’re on your own tonight.” I turned my back on her, frustration boiling inside me.A few minutes later, Elyse showed up, looking confused and clearly scared.“Get in the car, El
