As soon as we reached the borders the sight in front of us made me freeze in place, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and I felt my knees go weak and my legs gave out making me fall to the ground. My head was spinning when I saw Melina's bloodied body. I can't help but blame myself for her condition, she wasn't moving, not even breathing which made me break. I couldn't stop my tears as they kept flowing down my cheeks, I felt Jared pick me up in his arms trying to calm me down, but I couldn't think of anything other than blaming myself for losing my friend and coven member.
