But now this wasn’t my fault. I had no idea who she was. I was stunned by her sudden move and she made me speechless. I was still trying to figure out the scene but seeing Jenny I knew I was screwed. I had no idea how I would clear this image now. She was making an angry face an angry face and I was trying to jumble up words but I had no idea what to say. I mean I had no idea how to calm her down?? She picked up her bag and

“You are unbelievable Neil. I was a fool. I shouldn’t have trusted you.”

“This isn’t what you think it is. Listen please.”

With that, she headed outside and I paid the bill and followed her. I ran after her and  stopped her

“Jenny Listen to me. I promise I have no idea who is she. Please, Listen to me. She suddenly showed up and kissed me and I swear I don’t know her. I swear please Believe me.”

“ Do you think I am a fool?? I can’t see what’s happening around. I was a maniac trying to be by your side always. You let me down, Neil.”

“For god's sake listen to me. I promise I am not lying. Trust me Please.”

“That’s enough Neil. I believed you. But I have seen it with my eyes. I can’t pretend as nothing happened. I can’t believe I am saying this but It's over. Please. Don’t follow me now. We are done.”

“ No, No, No Please Jenny I love you. Don’t do this to me. I swear I am not lying.”

“This isn’t making any sense Neil. A random girl shows up and kisses you. Do you really think I would believe such a senseless story??”

“I know you won’t but let’s go inside. She must be here and I think she herself will clear your misunderstanding.”

“You know what I was always so insecure about you. I knew you lied that you didn’t have many girlfriends. But guess what All of your lovers are now showing up one by one and just after we decided to marry and officially announced that. Doesn’t this look strange?”

“I know I can’t prove your beliefs wrong right now. But trust me I had no intention of hurting you. I never lied about my girlfriends and you know that. You have your ex and you are still in touch with them. I never doubted you not for a second because I trusted you.”

“Bravo, That’s good. Now you are blaming me for having affairs?? You were spying on me??”

“What??? No, please don’t make this look ugly. I never said that you were having an affair. Please.”

“You know what Neil. It is better if we take a break now. We both deserve that. And this relationship can’t get more toxic. Now, If you please excuse me and Stop following me now.”

She took off the ring and gave it to me.

“ No, Please. Let’s go home and talk.”

“I am going home. I will take my stuff out sooner.”

By that time she stopped the cab and hopped in and gone away. I was standing there like a complete asshole. I then went back in to look for that witch because of whom This happened. My relationship was destroyed. I wanted to ask why did she do it. But she wasn’t there. I asked the bar attendant. I stayed there but then I went to see jenny. I wanted to explain everything.

I was driving as fast as I could. I went to her parent’s home but they told me that she didn’t come home.

I knew she would be at her friend’s home for sure. home. I tried to call her again and again but she didn’t respond.  I went to see her at her friend’s place. But she didn’t even allow me in.

“Jenny. Please Just listen to me once. I promise I didn’t know her. I swear please trust me.”

“That’s enough. Stop Lying now. I know everything about you now. Your Student was right. I shouldn’t have trusted you. Just go away, Neil. I was a fool. I shouldn’t have trusted you.”

“I promise I am innocent. I am not having any affairs with anyone. Come on. You have to believe me.”

“I don’t and I can’t. Sorry. You should go away now. I don’t wanna see your face. Please go away.”

“You don’t believe me. I know it's hard. But you have known me for so long please at least give me a chance to explain. I trust you blindly Why don't you??

" Because I have started seeing your true face. I believed you could be anything but not a cheater. not a disloyal person Neil. I never see this coming."

" Oh really?? But still, you blamed me for having affairs with some colleagues and students, and even a barmaid so many times. This was really your trust. I always trusted you. I never doubted you for a second."

"I didn't have anything to be ashamed of."

" What about lying about a business trip while in reality, you went abroad with your best friends on a vacation?? What about the times you said you were working in the office while you were chilling with your friends in clubs??

What about having lunch with your EX and pretending as if he is just a friend of yours while you knew he was still into you??

I bear all that just for you because I knew You loved me and you would never stab in my back. But I was wrong. Just one bad luck and incident and I am the bad guy now.

 I will prove my innocence once I am done with you I swear I am not gonna come back begging for you." In that anger, I went away.
