His Obsession Her Revenge

Neil Ryker POV

After so long, I was finally free and I went out with my girlfriend. She went to the restroom and we were enjoying our time together while we were sitting there my college friend Chloe showed up and She was my Ex too.

“Hey Neil, How are you??”

“Chloe, I am fine. What are you doing here?? I mean !!”

“ I know what you mean by that and I came here yesterday. I was here for your conference of yours.”

“No, Seriously?? You came here to attend that??”

“ Actually, I was missing you and I wanted to apologize too. I shouldn’t have….”

Before she started discussing our breakup story I stopped her.

“ Chloe, Meet my girlfriend Jenny. She is also a doctor and is my colleague too.”

“ Oh, Hey, Hi nice to meet you Lucky Girl.”

I looked at Jenny and her fake smile and her reaction were already depicting how she might be feeling seeing my Ex. And the worst part was that she already knew that she was my girlfriend.

 She was happy seeing me and when she hugged me I didn’t realize that jenny was going to mind that gesture of her. She gave me that death stare and I moved apart after the hug.

“ Okay, Neil. I guess you are busy right now. I am going now, will meet you at the conference.”

She went away and I sat back but jenny was picking up her bag.

“ Where are you going?”

“ Neil, I am not feeling well. I am going. “

“ Hey, What happened??”

I held her hand and tried to stop her but she didn’t listen and she walked out of the bar. I followed her.

“ Jenny, Stop, please. Please tell me the issue??”

“I am just feeling headache and you can stay if you want. I just want to sleep. I have a shift early in the morning.”

“Okay, Then I am coming with you.”

I got in the car and she hopped in and was still silent and wasn’t saying anything. I knew why was she upset ?? that was making me more upset.

“ I know you didn’t like Chloe and I understand but this isn’t the way darling. Come on. “

“ She is your ex.”

“ And that was a long time ago and you know what happened between us exactly. Do you still want to fight over such a mere thing?? Come on? You know she is nothing for me now.”

“ Didn’t you hear that she is here just for you?”

“ For the conference. Please, Don’t overthink that and Please don’t spoil your mood. Please.”

She is too possessive and I was expecting such a reaction from her and I knew she will be alright after going home. I didn’t talk much and after we came home I made coffee for both of us and she was sitting in the living room. I sat next to her and held her hand.

“ You know I love you and I am not leaving you. But jenny I am tired of this. Please you need to understand that I have a social circle too and I can’t just stay away from all the females. You should stop doing this. I can’t even count the times when you did that. I mean it's only been 3 days since you were blaming me for being friendly with one of my patients. She is just a patient.”

“It’s all your fault, Neil. You made me this much insecure after that night.”

“Oh come on not again. That was all a lie. You knew that student was just trapping me for blackmailing me and I will show you the CCTV of my office. Do you really think the board is a fool?? They would let my job in the same designation and would allow me to teach in the same class.”

“ Stop explaining it, please. And haven’t you seen your ex?? The way she was looking at you and she herself confessed that she is here for your conference. She wanted to apologize. It’s quite obvious that she is here for you. She wants to patch up.”

“Oh come on. Stop it now.  You are making it complicated yourself. You know that she is just a friend and nothing else. But it's useless talking to you.”

She was making me angry with those self-made stories. I went to sleep without talking to her. I knew after some time she will apologize and will feel ashamed of her behavior.

The next evening she was okay and we decided to go to the bar.

I was sitting in the club and was enjoying my drink and was waiting for jenny who had just gone to the restroom. I suddenly felt someone’s hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see who was there but I only saw a glimpse of a girl and the next moment she placed her lips on mine and started kissing him.

What?? Did I know her?? These questions were crashing into my mind. I thought she might be my girlfriend. She was wearing a black dress too. The abrupt kiss was making me confused. She stopped the kiss and finally I looked at her face and the scene in front of my eyes was breathtaking. She was drunk and seductive and I was so lost in her kiss. When I finally noticed her she was a girl in a short black dress was standing there and she made a cute face and finally spoke.

“Hope you didn’t mind that.”

“wait!! Do I know You??”

She didn’t reply and went away with a smile. I was about to get up and ask her why did she do that but by then he left the club with her friends. I sat back and turned around and was shocked seeing jenny standing behind me.

I totally forgot that I wasn’t all alone in the bar. I was there with jenny who was standing behind giving me death stares. I had no idea how am I gonna explain this to her. Last month one of my students tried to kiss me but I didn’t let her and she created a misunderstanding between me and jenny but thankfully I convinced her and before anything else happened I wanted to Marry her. But I didn't think its gonna happen now.
