Lyra's POV

I watched the palace doctor as he moved with care and precision, examining every part of my body carefully. I already knew what his verdict would be.

“Miss, I'm afraid you have no visible injuries or bruises. You do not appear ill or in pain. How do you feel?"

I took out the note I had written to Freya earlier.

“This is why I needed your attention. I need your help."

The silence that transpired between us increased the tension in the room. His eyes scanned my hand warily, as if watching a sneaky predator.

“What does this have to do with me, Miss?"

“Don't you remember me?" I questioned, slightly irritated at his indifference. “You're currently nursing my friend. This note has to get to her. I've really missed her, staying all alone here, and I have been banned from leaving the palace, strictly under the Alpha's watch."

I peered into his eyes, trying to look as helpless as possible.

“Please, sir. I'll be grateful. You're helping two friends who are away from each other.”

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 57: Weren’t Meant To Remain Ordinary

Lyra’s POVI woke to the sound of my own breath. Too sharp. Too fast. It wasn’t fear this time—it was something else. My body felt different, tight beneath the skin, like a bowstring pulled and waiting to snap. When I opened the door to step into the corridor, the palace was quiet. Yet not silent. I could hear the faint thud of footsteps several rooms away, the creak of doors opening, even the low rumble of voices where I should have heard nothing.I stopped, pressing a hand against the wall. What is happening to me?Two servants walked past carrying linens. Their voices hissed beneath their breath.“That’s her,” one whispered, lips barely moving.“She looks sick,” the other muttered. They thought I couldn’t hear. But I did. Every syllable landed sharp in my ears. I clenched my jaw and kept walking, though my legs shook. In the hall, I caught the scent of smoke from the kitchens though they were floors away. The sweetness of wine lingered in the air though the casks hadn’t been opened

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 56: Will Need Shield

Lyra’s POVI thought I would shatter that night. Lady Seraphina hadn’t whipped me, hadn’t drawn blood—yet I still felt the imprint of her hands, invisible bruises wrapping around my spirit. She had pressed me down without raising her voice. And I survived. That was the only sentence that mattered when dawn crept into my room.I sat before the little mirror on my desk. The girl staring back looked pale, lips cracked, eyes shadowed. I touched the glass as if she were someone else.“You’re still here,” I whispered. My voice trembled, but I still had a voice.I stood up and put on my dress. The corridor outside was hushed. A few servants passed but quickly dropped their gazes. Two whispered as I moved by.“That’s her,” one hissed.“Don’t look,” the other warned.I forced my head high though my stomach knotted. I wanted to shout I can hear you! But instead I walked on.The dining hall was nearly empty. I lingered at the door, unsure if I had the right to enter. Then a voice stopped me.“Ly

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 55: Punishment Is An Art

Lady Seraphina’s POVCruelty doesn’t always need blood. Silence, absence, erasure—those leave deeper scars. And Lyra, the little Omega who had overstepped, was about to learn. When the council dissolved after declaring Suzanne guilty, the chamber buzzed like a disturbed hive. No one dared speak too loud. Alpha Kieran stood at the center, his silence iron-tight. When he finally turned, it was not to Suzanne, nor the nobles, but to me.“She’s yours,” he said, nodding at Lyra. “No physical harm.”As if harm required touch.I led Lyra out myself. My hand grazed her arm—light as silk, yet firm enough that she didn’t dare resist. She kept her gaze forward, chin lowered. I leaned close.“Come, little shadow. You wanted to play on the stage? I’ll give you one.”She flinched but said nothing. That was her first mistake. Silence is never neutral; it confesses too much. The days that followed weren’t punishment. They were subtracted.During the audience, she stood behind me with a silver tray. T

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 54: Caught In The Storm

Lyra’s POVThe sound of carriage wheels on stone echoed through the courtyard, and every head turned. From the open door stepped Freya, pale but upright, her arm supported by the palace doctor, Sir Dorian. Her steps were slow, cautious, yet they carried weight heavier than soldiers’ boots. Her return stirred whispers like wildfire through the palace. She was supposed to be resting, hidden away until her body could stitch itself whole again. Yet here she was, summoned not by her own strength but by the hunger of men seated in the council chamber. The council wanted blood, and Freya’s presence meant they would have it. She cast me a look that said she'd gotten my note, and things will go exactly as I had planned them. I nodded in acknowledgment as the guards escorted her to the council court room.***Kieran’s POVI should have delayed them. I should have silenced their calls for trial until Freya’s wounds healed. But the weight of their pressure had grown unbearable.“An Alpha who shi

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 53: Keep Bleeding

Kieran’s POVLyra walked through the gates with the broken cuff still clasped to her wrists, and though the guards had expected me to rage, to demand her blood on the stones, I did not.“Untouched,” I said, my voice final. “No hand is to rise against her.”"But Alpha," one of them spoke up but my glare shut him up."You dare go against my order?" I questioned, the atmosphere tensing with my aura."I w...wouldn't dare Alpha," he stated."Good." I heard a bit of murmur coming from them. "Silence!" I ordered. And everywhere became eerily silent. The guards’ knuckles whitened as their grip on their sword hilts tightened, yearning for a punishment denied. But my command was law, and they obeyed. She stood in the center of the courtyard, her shoulders tense, her face unreadable beneath the dim morning light. She did not kneel, nor did she speak, and for that moment, it was as though the palace itself held its breath."Your rigidity is about to be tamed," I muttered to myself, barely audib

  • His Omega Luna    Chapter 52: Something Beyond Me

Lyra’s POV“She’s gone.”“What do you mean gone?” another voice hissed. “The Alpha himself gave orders that she’s to remain in the dungeon."The silence that followed was heavy, almost suffocating. I could hear them, though I lay in an open field.I awoke shivering, my cheek pressed against damp grass. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of pine and smoke, and my body ached with a heaviness I couldn’t explain. I didn’t remember moving, let alone breaking these chains and escaping from the dungeon. There was no one around, but the voices felt so close. What was happening to me?Yet, here I was, sprawled in the woods again, the cold dew clinging to my skin. My wrists bore the raw marks of handcuffs; the cuffs were still on my wrists but the chains were gone.Panic seized me until the sight ahead steadied my breath—Elder Thorian’s house, standing quiet and dignified at the edge of the forest. Smoke curled gently from its chimney, meaning he was definitely in. I staggered to my feet, m
