Josie I was mindlessly scrolling through my phone when I felt his presence lingering in the doorway, watching me. I hated that I could feel him, that meant that the magic was starting to take root. Our souls had been bound together, so even without being marked, we were going to start feeling eachother's presence more prominently. Bryan When we pulled up to the campus bookstore she demanded that I stay in the car while she ran inside to get her books. Andu didn't like the idea of her going in there alone since she was unmarked, especially with all of the guys that we'd seen wandering around the campus, but I assured him that she knew who we were so she wouldn't dare attempt to go back on her word. She wasn't inside long, but as I watched her come out of the building I saw her talking and smiling with two other girls. I couldn't help but wish I could get her to smile and talk to me like that as she said her goodbyes before climbing back into the car. I drove back to the house, noting that she didn't want to speak with me as she immediately turned the volume up on the music when she got into the car. Josie The rest of the week flew by in a blur for me. The past life dreams had become so incredibly vivid that I found myself drinking even more than usual. I thought I could go back to wine since I was in the comfort of my home, but the past life dreams added a level of stress that I hadn't seen coming. I couldn't help but to wonder what the Alpha Prince made of them, though I would never ask. I found myself waking up most mornings aching for his touch that I had felt in those dreams, wondering if it were possible that the man I was now sharing my home with could actually make me feel as good and alive as I had felt during those dreams. I knew, however, that parts of that life were missing. It seemed that the ancestors only felt it necessary to show us all of the good within that lifetime for the time being, but I knew that eventually the other shoe would drop and we would remember the tragedy and pain of that life as well. It's weird, having those incredibly vivid past life dreams.

Bryan We carried her artifacts down to the basement, and I was utterly surprised by what I saw when we got to the bottom of the stairs. The basement was incredibly organized, with all of her decorations separated into sectioned shelves that lined the wall. I couldn't help but to notice that she had a whole wall of shelves that were full of totes labeled as Christmas decorations, which was way more than any of the other decorations she had. She lead the way through the large basement until we came to what appeared to be a brick wall that housed the electrical box. I couldn't help the smirk that came to my face as she opened it up to reveal a biometric panel. She scanned her hand first, then, once it was accepted, she stepped over to stand infront of it as a red light started flashing. I watched as the panel scanned her retina, before a robotic voice welcomed her to the space. BryanI spent the week with my sister enjoying her company and getting to know my niece. She was quite adorable as far as pups go, and made me want my own even more than I already did. I had hoped to have several of my own, but it seemed fate had other plans for me. My sister, her husband and Ricky enjoyed spending the week teasing me about the fact that I was on my third soul bond, though all of us knew that if this didn't work out, there was a good chance that I'd turn feral and never come back from it. My parents had already told my sister Bryanne all about my new bride so she had tons of questions for me during our stay. Josie The weeks flew by as I settled into my new routine of classes and sorority duties. Turns out, having Bryan come home early while Maddie was still here actually made me more comfortable with having him in my home. Luckily my best friend isn't shy, and asked him tons of questions over dinner. Apparently he had lost the love of his life as well, which I'm assuming was his fated mate, though he called her his first wife. He told her how he married too soon after he had lost her, and because he was still grieving her, his second marriage didn't work out. Bryan Something about the way the Vampire Prince spoke so casually of her husband's death infuriated me. I knew on the anniversary of his death she was hurting deeply, I had seen as much all day as I watched on while she drank herself into a stupor. At one point I even sat on the floor in the hallway outside her bedroom door worried sick that she was going to fall and hurt herself. When I finally heard her heart rate even out I went into her bedroom and put her in bed, since she had fallen asleep laying on the floor of the walk-in closet, cuddled up in his clothes.
