“If you want to use me to threaten my husband, I'm afraid you're wrong!” When I looked into the man's green eyes, I felt as if my heart had stopped for a few seconds. I can't even feel my breath.

His eyes were so attractive that they sparkled like green crystals in the sun. The gentle breath from his nose was mesmerising, like tequila. He looked at me sharply, like a dagger with a silver gleam.

He wanted to see through me, even to tear me apart layer by layer.

I regretted it when I realised that what I said was contradictory. One minute ago, I was smug about being Mrs Moore, and now I was saying it didn't mean anything.

“My husband will not agree to any of your terms just because you are holding me hostage!” I told the truth reluctantly. This was the first time I had shown my weakness in front of a strange man.

“He wouldn't give up the merger for anyone! The Moore man thinks profit always comes before everything!”

I should have known!

The man smiled. Even if only the corners of his mouth were up, he still smiled so good-looking.

“I won't let you go!” he said.

“I'm of no use to you,” I said.

“I want you!” The man put his arm around my waist, and his lips moved back and forth across my cheek. “I want to take everything from Moore, including you!”

My heart was racing, trying to escape, but he caught me. His hands held me like steel and I couldn't move. He hugged me, our bodies so close together. I could even hear the rhythmic beat of his heart from his chest.

A fact struck me suddenly. This man hated Moore. He was my husband's enemy. And so am I!

The enemy of my enemy is my friend!

Within seconds, a new plan popped into my head. Maybe I can join hands with this man because we all have a common goal.

But can this man be trusted? I think I must be crazy. This man is more dangerous than any man I've ever met.

Perhaps he was a more ruthless man than Ron. He didn't even keep his word. Do I really have to do this?

Yes, I do!

“Why can't we be allies?” I whispered into his ear. “I believe I'll be your best ally against Moore!”

“You?” The man loosened my waist and looked at me. “Are you serious?”

“Yes!” I said firmly. “I know Moore. I can find out all their family secrets if you need them!”

“What do you want?”

“I want Ron dead!”

The man was silent for a few seconds, and sneered, “Mrs Moore, what is it that makes you to betray your husband? Do you have any idea who you're dealing with?”

“Then do you want me to help you? I don't want to waste my time, and I don't care who you are. I just need a definite answer!” I said.

The man ignored me and went on, “He cheated on you?”

I was silent. The man used his long fingers to play a strand of hair behind my ear. His index finger slid down my earlobe to my chin and then stopped in the middle of my lips.

“I can feel the anger and the resentment in your heart!”

My heart skipped a beat and my eyes widened slightly as I looked at him. His expression was as cold as ever, and there was a smile on his lips. His green eyes were now as forbidding as the abyss.

“You need my help, don't you? You want me to help you kill your husband just because he betrayed you?”

Just because of the betrayal? Tears were streaming from the corners of my eyes. Painful memories of the past life suddenly came to mind. The faint heartbeat, the mournful cry of a baby echoed in my ears.

I have nothing but hatred for Ron and my sister!

“You have no idea what I've lost!” I clenched my fists, anger burning in my eyes.

“I can help you!” The man wiped away the tears for me, “But you must promise me one condition!”

“I'll do anything!”

The man cupped my cheek in his hands. He looked at me with a complicated expression, as if he were looking at someone else. Suddenly, his voice became a little hoarse, as if a layer of sand had entered his throat.

“I want you to be my wife!” He pushed me into a corner and repeated the request to me in a tone I couldn't resist. “I want you to be my wife! Forever!”

I was stunned to hear him make such a request. For a moment, I didn't know how to answer him.

His lips pressed against my hair and his breathing became heavy. His chest was pressing against my breasts, and between my legs, his c.ock was pressing against the centre of my mysterious garden.

His d.ick is so big and hard!

After I married Ron for many years, he rarely made love to me. Sometimes he would use me as a tool when he was drunk. But every time, he was so focused on his feelings that he didn't even care if I had an o.rgasm.

“Answer me!” He pressed.

A long-lost fire was burning inside me, and even my breathing was beginning to quicken. My adrenaline seemed to surge in an instant. I can't control my body's desires, even though my mind tells me to be calm.

But how do I calm down? Just then, Liv's voice popped into my ears.

'If you want a man, f.uck him!'

F.uck him!!

Why not? My husband was having s.ex with my sister. Why can't I have s.ex with this man? It was both revenge and pleasure. If God gave me a second chance, why can't I be a little crazy?

“Yes, I do!” I took the initiative to hug the man.

“Then I want you to do your duty now.” The man's lips moved to the tip of my nose. “Show me!”

My body was on fire, and I felt my cheeks burn. His voice and breath made me lose my mind. So, I stuck out my tongue and licked his sexy lips, and he sucked my tongue.

He kissed me aggressively. Two soft tongues are entwined in our mouths. An alluring smell filled my entire mouth.

“Say my name, I want to hear you say my name!”

With one hand, he pressed down on the base of my neck and he tore open the button on my chest with the other. My white bra was immediately exposed, and he reached right under it. Then my breasts were pinched by his hand like a soft water balloon, his thumb playing with my n.ipples and making them hard.

“Frade! Frade!” For the first time, I called out a man's name as if we had known each other.

Frade, this name will be deeply engraved in my heart!

“You know what? You're making a deal with the devil,” Frade said, ripping off my bra and putting his lips on my n.ipple.

“Why do you always have to decide before you tell me?” Frade asked, smoking hard on the couch. “Didn't I tell you to consult me before you made any decisions?”“Because this time there is no room for negotiation.” I stood in front of him, looking at him like that. My heart felt extremely painful. But I had to tell him about my decision. • His Perfect Wife Strikes Back   198 I Will Stay

I didn't expect Mickle to agree to meet with me as soon as I contacted him. But I had to go jogging with him, so I changed into a white sweatshirt and drove to his estate. We jogged side by side on a path near the estate, with two bodyguards following us. I can't remember the last time I ran in the morning. I was a little out of it at first, but after a while, I got my breath back.“Do you need a few minutes?” Mickle, who was wearing a black, short-sleeved tracksuit, turned to me. “Looks like you haven't exercised in a while.”“I'm fine,” I said.“I'll wait for you at the lake ahead,” he said as he continued to run.By the time I got to the lake, he was resting. A burly bodyguard offered him water, but Mickle gave it to me.“You need water,” he says.“Thank you.” I opened the bottle cap and took a sip. The bodyguard somehow took out another bottle of water and handed it to him.“It's a rare day for you to call me,” Mickle said, his face flushed but his tone calm. Judging from his stro

In the room, Vickie is lying on her bed, a private nurse holding a clear plastic tube attached to a ventilator up her nose. Since a trip to Italy, Vickie has grown weaker. Mark told me that she was taken home in an ambulance from a private hospital after she landed.“Why don't you take her to the hospital?” I asked in a low voice.“She's determined to go home,” Mark said. “No one can change her mind, and you know it.”“The patient needs to rest. Please leave the room,” the middle-aged brown-haired nurse said politely.Mark and I left the room just as Frade and Vickie's doctor came out of the other room. That was the room where they had been discussing Vickie's condition, and Frade's sullen face didn't look good. It's terrible.“Mark, please help me get Dr. Hans out of here.” Frade's voice was hoarse and tired, and the stubble on his face seemed to have grown overnight, making him look even gloomier.“Are you all right, darling?” I stroked his cheek and looked at the man in front of me

  • His Perfect Wife Strikes Back   195 Asking For Help

A middle-aged woman in a plain grey T-shirt and light blue jeans sat on the living room sofa, her hands on her closed knees, her eyes downcast. The coffee in front of her was steaming, and it was obvious that she hadn't touched it.“Hey!” I whispered. “I'm Eva.”“Hi!” The woman stood up at once. She looked at me a little stiffly. “My name is Joe. I'm a friend of Joan's. We're all in the same union.”“How did you find me?” I motioned for her to sit down.“Joan gave me your number,” said Joe, “And we found your place. I'm sorry to bother you so late. Joan needs your help.”“You didn't come alone?” I asked curiously.“I have another colleague with me,” Joe said truthfully. “He's waiting for me outside.”“Is he here to ensure your safety?” I looked at her. “Since your friend is worried about your safety, why are you looking for me? So, what's the matter?”“We just...” Joe looked down sheepishly. “Just in case. But Joan says you're a trustworthy person. You're not like your father.”“I hel
