Mag-log inHugging the soft bunny to my chest, I watch as the home I was preparing to raise a family in is packed away. Jonathan was still under Colton, but I didn’t care. I know that if my ex tried to do anything, Colton, an Army vet, would make sure my ex regretted it. The driver door to the Hummer opens, and I look to find Uncle Hunter climbing in, a soft smile on his face.
“Come on, Princess, let’s get you home.” He mutters, turning the key and starting the car. I nod, closing my eyes, not wanting to watch the home I was planning a future in fade from view. I was ready to give up everything for a man who wasn’t willing to wait for me.
“It’ll be okay, Jessica.” Uncle Hunter calls out, resting his warm hand on my lap. I open my eyes to stare at him, finding his usually stoic face set into a reassuring smile.
“That prick was never good enough for you, but don’t worry. I will make sure you get through this and take care of you.” I smile at his words and find myself leaning against Uncle Hunter’s arms. His muscles flex for a brief second, but then I feel him relax. I have known Uncle Hunter for most of my life, and I know that he is a man of his word. If he says he is going to take care of me, then I know I can trust him to do just that.
“Thank you, Uncle Hunter.” I whisper, feeling his hand squeeze my thigh.
“Don’t thank me, Princess. I will always take care of you.” He counters softly; the words filled with a promise that I know will never be broken. I close my eyes and breathe in the scent of his cologne, finding comfort with him being so close to me.

Fingers running through my hair draw me awake, and I groan, feeling slightly disoriented. I open my eyes and am greeted by a fire roaring in a large stone fireplace, keeping the room warm. Strong arms wrap around me, and for a moment, I panic, until the familiar Dior cologne fills my nose.
“Uncle Hunter?” I ask, my voice full of sleep.
“Here, Princess.” He replies from under me, and I blush, noticing the broad shoulders my head rests on and the muscles under my fingertips barely concealed by the cotton shirt.
“I…I’m…” I stutter out, feeling Uncle Hunter’s hands rest on the small of my back.
“Don’t apologize, Princess. You were exhausted from everything today and fell asleep.” He says, his thumbs rubbing circles on my back.
“When I went to bring you inside, you clung to me, and so I decided to let you sleep on top of me.” Uncle Hunter continues. I hum, closing my eyes for a moment to gather my thoughts. In just a few hours, I went from engaged and ready to prepare a wedding to single and picking up the pieces of a broken heart.
“What do I do now, Uncle Hunter?” I ask, really needing some advice right now.
“Well, you can call your work and take a leave of absence. I will pay for whatever you want while you heal.” He begins, his left hand moving to play with my hair, a simple gesture I always wanted Jonathan to do, but he felt it was beneath him.
“You can sleep all day and paint all night like you used to during summer break. You could lounge by the pool and let your mind wander. Hell, you could even go back to school if you wanted, and I would make sure you are okay until you are ready to get back on your feet. I know your dad would appreciate me taking care of you like this.” Uncle Hunter continues, the idea of getting back into painting again makes me smile. I missed painting. Missed the smell of high-end acrylic paints fresh from the tube while I worked away at a blank canvas.
“Do you mind if I just breathe for a bit before I do anything?” I ask, feeling his fingertips massage my scalp.
“Not at all.” He reassures me.
“You went through one of the worst betrayals. If you need a moment to just breathe, then breathe. My home is your home, Princess.” His lips press against the top of my head, and I notice it lingering longer than normal. I bask in his warmth, letting it chase away the numbness in my heart. Jonathan will be after me with a vengeance now that what he did to me was out there on the internet, but it serves him right. He made his bed by sleeping with Helen, now he can lie in it.
“Are you hungry?” Uncle Hunter asks, the two of us growing into a comfortable silence. I open my mouth to answer, but my stomach grumbles loudly, answering for me. Uncle Hunter chuckles, his body shaking under mine, and I blush, mortified at the situation.
“I will take that as a yes.” He answers, squeezing me in a hug.
“Can we get Lazeez?” I ask sheepishly, craving some comfort food.
“Of course we can. I will just Uber Eats it now if you want to go for a shower and wash the day away.” He suggests, and I nod, carefully climbing off of Uncle Hunter.
“Is my room the same one as always?” I ask, turning to find Uncle Hunter watching me with a smirk and dark, broody eyes.
“Yes, it is. I had Mavis boss my men around to put your things away inside. The room beside yours was turned into your office, but there is space to add an art corner if you want.” My face splits into a grin at this, and I thank him, turning on my heels and bounding towards the steps. A shower sounds wonderful right now, as I need to wash away what remains of my shattered relationship.
A low moan escapes my lips as lips encircle my hard nipple. Strong fingers find their way inside me, slowly moving in a ‘come hither’ motion and creating a lewd squelching sound that I did not expect my body to make.“Princess, are you my good girl?” I look down my body to find familiar dark green eyes, filled with lust and need.“Yes!” I moan out my answer….I jolt awake, my heart beating heavy in my chest. That dream felt real. Too real. I could feel his lips on my skin. Feel the strength in his fingers as they toyed with my insides. I knew without having to touch myself that my pussy was soaking wet just from the achy need I feel. To have someone else’s fingers inside me for once and feel what it means to have a man make me their woman.“Stop that!” I scold myself. Slapping my hands to my cheeks to shake these dirty thoughts from my mind. Thoughts about a certain man who is sleeping just down the hall from me. I should be mad at myself for thinking about Hunter in this way, but the
I watch as the police haul Jonathan away in handcuffs, the weasel of a man screaming about how everything was Jessica’s fault and he only came here to force her to make things right. He had woken up just as the police arrived, demanding to know who hit him and calling Jessica a whore and a lying bitch. My bouncers had to hold me back from beating the ever-loving shit out of him while Jessica stood beside me, glaring at the man she was planning to marry. Police thankfully restrained him and asked everyone to cooperate while we explained what happened to them. Jessica was quick, explaining yesterday she had broken off her engagement with Jonathan after finding him in bed with her stepsister and was here at a family business to get her mind off things. When the female police officer saw the bruising on her arm, she asked if Jonathan had done that, to which Jessica nodded.I told the officer that she could use my office to talk with Jessica while I talked with her partner, Jonathan was fo
Swaying to the beat of the music, I feel my body finally relax while I mix in with the crowd at Dancing Desires, the nightclub Hunter owns. The nightclub Jonathan never let me go to. The nightclub I was now dancing in after I convinced Hunter to let me join him tonight.Hunter was against bringing me to the club tonight because he would be busy with work and payroll, but after mentioning that Jonathan forbade me from coming, his answer changed. I was told to go change my clothes and given the ground rules of never leaving my drink unattended and, if I did, to get a new one from the bar right away. I was not allowed to leave the building once we arrived, and I had to go directly to his office if I needed a break or a nap after dancing. I was also required to check in with him every hour through a walkie-talkie that the bartender used. The song changes from an upbeat pop song to some slow romance, and I take this as my cue to make my way to the bar and check in with Hunter. I already sp
Stepping through my front door, the smell of steak, roasted vegetables, and potatoes fills my nose. My stomach growls, and I wonder just what my Princess has cooked up for us.“Is that you, Hunter?” Jessica’s voice calls out, and I freeze, eyes widening. She called me Hunter. Not Uncle Hunter like she has for over a decade, but just Hunter.“Y-yeah, Princess, it’s me.” I call back, stuttering slightly as a grin spreads across my lips.“Okay, dinner is almost ready.” She responds. Taking a deep breath, I head in the direction I heard her voice coming from and enter the kitchen, finding her taking out a tray full of vegetables from the oven and setting it on the stove top.“Welcome home!” Jessica calls cheerily, turning her head to smile at me. Leaning against the door frame, I take a moment to process what I am seeing. Before me, Jessica wears a pink sun dress, the material clinging to her body until it flares out at her hips. She looks delicious, and I can feel all the blood in my bra
Watching the light catch on the water droplets on the greenhouse, I find myself happy with the work I had put in. The outside no longer had an abandoned feel that it did this morning. I was lucky to have found the pressure washer when I did, or cleaning the glass would have been a nightmare. Now, I need to figure out how to organize inside and make the most out of the space. The pile of icy leaves off to the side will have to be bagged into the compost bags I bought, but I could have Uncle Hunter help me with that later. Right now, I need to use the dolly in the garage to unload the truck and bring everything into the back. Resigning to my fate, I tidy up the pressure washer and make my way down the path to the garage. Once it’s put away in the corner I found it in, I grab the dolly and walk through the open garage door towards the truck where everything I bought today, minus the tools already inside the greenhouse, waits to be unloaded.Lowering the tailgate, I
Leaning against the wall, I pull up my phone and smirk when I see the notifications from my bank. Someone had used my card at the Rona close to my house, and I can't help but chuckle. It seems my Princess went out to go shopping instead of ordering everything online like she said she would. Hell, I had a feeling she was going to head out when she asked if I had a truck she could borrow, I just never thought it would be to the nearest home improvement store.Deciding to see if she was now home, I pull up the security camera app and flip through each feed, landing on the camera in the backyard where I notice movement. There was Jessica using some sort of tool to pull ivy from the greenhouse, her messy hair tied into a ponytail on top of her head.“What has you grinning like the Cheshire Cat?” Someone calls from beside me, making me jump. Turning, I find Mavis watching me, a smirk on her lips.“Has your Princess settled into her new home already?
