FAZER LOGIN(Henry's POV)
--- "No, p-please don't hurt me. I haven't done anything wrong." I cried out, I didn't know what to do. "Help! Someo-" The man immediately covered my mouth with his hand to prevent me from screaming. I felt the guy's nose on the crook of my neck, he was breathing so loudly that it made me shiver. "Mmmm... Mate! You smell so sweet." What did he say? Mate? No-no! I don't want this! 'Grey, help! Anyone!' I struggled in his hold and I felt his hands roam around my body, he started from my stomach then his hand suddenly crawled inside my shirt, going higher from my waist to my stomach, I couldn't see who the man was, my sight was blurred since I took my glasses off. Was he just waiting for me this whole time? No, that can't be possible. It was my first day here, maybe he mistook me for someone else? "Please, let go of me," I pleaded, but all that came out was a muffled noise. "Shh, it's okay, I won’t hurt you, angel." The man said in a gentle voice. I tried to get out of his hold, using my hands but he was too strong. He suddenly withdraw his hands and clasped both of my hands tightly so I couldn't move, I'm pretty sure it would leave a bruise by how much force the man was exerting. "No! Helppp!" I tried to shout, but again, what came out of my mouth were just muffled sounds. "Angel, you don’t need to shout, I won’t hurt you." I shook my head in defiance. “Angel, I can only spend so little time with you. So I have no choice but to do this, or that asshole will do it first,” he said, and all of a sudden, I felt a searing pain in my nape, he bit me! His teeth dug in so deep in my skin. "Attention student! You are all requested to go to your designated classroom this instant. I repeat, go to your classroom this instant. I don't want to see anyone walking in the halls when I make my patrol, so try not getting into detention on the first day of the semester." I heard a woman announcing from the telecom outside. After the woman's voice disappeared, the man that was holding me stopped shortly right after, and tilted my head sideways with his hand, he gripped my jaw and leaned closer to me. "It was nice meeting you, my little mate, I'll keep my eye on you. And remember this, you’re mine, angel." He said, then I felt him kiss my cheek, and then I was released. I heard the door open and close. It took me a while to collect myself again. Should I tell this to Grey? No! No...he'll just worry about me again, I don't want to be a huge burden to my brother. But what if that man does it again? [Knock! Knock!] "Hey! Boy who grabbed my bag, are you there?!" A shout pierced the air, and it pulled me back to my senses. I wiped the tear stains in my cheek, fast, and searched for my glasses on the surface. "I'm here," I tried to sound lively, and smiled at myself in the mirror before going out. I'll be okay, it was just an accident, it was just...an accident, that person just mistook me for someone else. I keep convincing myself and got out. "Hah, you took a quick piss? Here I thought I was the one who's going to get us late. Let's go, our first class is Dorothy, you should be careful of her, she's quite a witch," She said the last phrase in a serious tone. I nodded briskly at her and took a mental note. "Oh right! I forgot to introduce myself, the name's Kara by the way, how about you?" "I'm Henry." I weakly said to her, my head was still a bit clouded by what happened. I'm thinking of possible reasons to explain that man's actions, but there was nothing that came to mind. "So I'm guessing that you still don't have friends here, right? Cause if that's the case, then I could let you join me and my friend's circle. We're quite diverse, there's the stupid, smart, even jocks, but the good kind though." she mumbled, "And lastly, where I belong, the gorgeous ones." She said the last sentence confidently while flipping her hair to the back. The restroom incident suddenly got thrown in the back of my head. I got excited when I heard her say friends. I looked at her face and she was smiling down at me. "Are you sure about me… being friends with you?" I asked. "Of course! But only if you are down. Are you?" she asked me again, and I briskly nodded my head. "Yes please!" I exclaimed, making her chuckle, "Then that settles it." she wrapped her arms around my shoulder and pulled me closer to her. "From this day forward we are friends till death do us part." she said dramatically, and I couldn't help but giggle at her silliness. "Don't worry, they're very sweet, or tumble, maybe slightly chaotic, but I'm sure you'll love them." … We soon arrived in front of the room still laughing, however, the moment we saw a woman with a thin stick on her hands. We froze. "Damn it!" Kara cursed under her breath. I was nervous and looked at Kara, but she said that it will be fine and that she will handle it. "Well-well... you two sure are courageous coming in my class this late." "Umm, you see Miss, we got stuck in a situation." Kara tried to explain to her but she just huffed and peered at the two of us, "Mind telling me what kind of situation?" She said, while inserting more force on the stick, making my legs go jelly. 'Why is she so scary!?' "Hmm, let's see, it's a situation that requires urinating and some makeup Miss." Kara said straight while smiling with an unserious face, and I could hear some students laughing inside who heard her. Why would she say that?! Now we're definitely going to get in trouble. "Excuse me?! Is this a joke to you Miss Wilson?" Oh God! She looks furious. She moved her gaze to me and gave me a glare, "And you? Why are you late?!" My hands started getting sweaty, and I was busy thinking of an excuse when she suddenly spun me around that made me a bit dizzy. "I now see, Miss Wilson, you're quite passionate so early in the morning to give this young man such a present, no?" She said with a raised brow. I was confused but suddenly realized what she was referring to. Oh my god! That guy must have left a hickey. How will I explain this? "What are you talking about?" Kara looked confused, a lot of unpleasant scenarios flashed in my mind. I'm sure she won't want to be friends with me now because of this. She scanned what the teacher was pointing at and opened and closed her mouth a few times looking shocked, while probably thinking of something to refute. Kara must think I am dirty now. I thought it would be the end of me, until I heard what Kara said next. "That's clearly a sting, your old eyes just can't see properly." I heard Kara say, and I was genuinely taken aback. Is she protecting me? "How dare you! Go to detention. NOW!" Kara wasn't fazed at all by her constant yelling, she shrugged her shoulders off and walked away without care. I stared at Kara guiltily as she walked away, then she tilted her head a bit and looked at me, enough to send me a small wink. 'What...?' She then mouthed "It's going to be okay." and I could only muster to mouth a simple "sorry." She smiled and nodded her head before disappearing. "And as for you," I went rigid when the teacher's attention shifted to me. "I'll let this one slide since you are a newcomer. You better not turn out to be like her, go inside!" She yelled and I quickly did as I was told. The rest of the week felt like I was in hell. I tried to be optimistic, to not think about negative things just like what my friend said, but I couldn’t help but be affected.Especially since my brother is still not talking to me.And as for Alex, weirdly enough, he hasn’t shown up yet. Did he finally get tired of me? Did he finally realize that he won’t benefit from being with me?Right. That must be it, we are from two opposite worlds anyway. He is this creature that turns into a wolf, so it would only be right for him to eventually be with someone the same as him.Sigh. I still can wrap up my head on that fact, but I guess, the fantasy movies I always watched paid off. Because the truth that someone like him really exists isn’t too disturbing to me anymore. I wonder if vampires exist as well. Like in the movie Twilight. Alas. My thoughts are wandering again. I should get some fresh air.I got up from bed and opened the door. I was about to go out but then I saw Grey, he stopped
(Henry’s POV)—————Jessica crossed her arms and tilted her head as she stared at me with a condescending look. Her smile was sharp. Cruel. Victorious. Like she had finally found the perfect weapon against me.“Well, it’s good to be back, doesn’t it?” she said in a sickening sweet voice.Nobody answered.Casper immediately stood up, glaring at her.“Go away, Jessica.”“Aww.” She placed a hand dramatically over her chest. “Such hostility.”“You started the rumors about Henry.”“Rumors?” She laughed. The sound scraped against my nerves.“If they were rumors, then why hasn’t Alex denied them?”Nobody spoke.Jessica’s eyes slowly drifted toward me.“Interesting, isn’t it?”My stomach tightened. She took a step closer.“You disappear for three days and now you are back.”Another step.“Alex disappeared for days as well and suddenly he is also back.”Another.“That’s not a coincidence at all. I say you tricked and seduced him, didn't you? Even went as far as to fucking up his position as ca
(Henry’s POV)I am currently walking to school because Grey apparently left me. He is probably still mad. I tried talking to him but he wouldn’t budge at all.Sigh.Eventually I arrived at school. The moment I stepped through the school gates… I instantly knew something was wrong. At first, I couldn’t figure out why. Students were staring. Not the normal stare. This was different. Everywhere I looked, people were whispering.A group of girls sitting near the fountain immediately lowered their voices when they noticed me looking. Two boys near the bike racks glanced at me. Then at each other. Then they started whispering again, snickering. My steps slowed.A strange feeling settled in my stomach. What is going on?Then I heard it. As I passed three girls whispering to each other.“…that’s him.”My heart skipped.“The one dating Alex.”Another voice answered.“No way.”“I’m serious.”“I heard they’re already livin
(Henry’s POV) ————— I feel like this is the most unappetizing breakfast I have ever had my entire life. Not because the food was bad. But because Alex was sitting beside me. Don’t get me wrong, if this was before, I would have been overjoyed to have him eating with us. It’s just that… I didn’t know who he was anymore. Mom sat across from me, and Grey sat beside her. On the table were the plates of eggs, toast, bacon, and freshly brewed coffee. Everything looked normal, on the surface but if you looked closely at us right now, it was everything but normal. My fingers unconsciously curled around my fork. I was sweating a little, because even with the hot day, Alex made me wear it, so that my mom and Grey wouldn’t see the bruise on my wrist. “Keep it on.” That was what Alex had told me before we came downstairs. So I did. I didn’t have the courage to argue. Especially after what happened. Across from me, Grey was glaring at Alex. The tension was so thick that
(Henry’s POV) ————— The first thing I noticed when I woke up was warmth. A comforting warmth wrapped around me from behind. For a brief moment, I didn’t open my eyes. I simply enjoyed it. The room was quiet, and the temperature was just right for all my muscles. It felt… nice. Then shortly, reality slowly returned. My eyes fluttered open. And immediately landed on Elijah. He was still asleep. His arm remained draped around my waist while his face rested against my shoulder. His golden lashes cast faint shadows across his cheeks. And I found myself staring. Why was I always staring at him lately? It was becoming a problem. A very serious problem. I shook my head. Nope. Not thinking about that. I carefully slipped out from beneath his arm. Like a criminal escaping a crime scene. One wrong movement and he might wake up. Thankfully, Elijah remained asleep. I quietly climbed off the bed. My stomach immediately growled. I was famished. Suddenly my prioritie
(Henry’s POV)—————The car ride home was… awkward. It wasn’t bad, but the silence was just too deafening. The rhythmic hum of the engine filled the silence as the dark road stretched endlessly before us. Trees blurred past the windows like shadows dancing beneath the moonlight.I sat in the passenger seat, occasionally stealing glances toward Elijah as he drove. One hand rested on the steering wheel while the other leaned against the window. His expression was unreadable. Ever since Kara accidentally revealed the whole mate thing earlier, he had gone totally quiet.Earlier, when I asked what a mate was, both he and Kara exchanged strange looks. Then Kara laughed nervously. And Elijah… well… Elijah simply smiled.“A mate is like a friend for life.” That was his answer.I wasn’t stupid. That sounded like the kind of explanation adults give children when they don’t know how to answer complex questions.I had narrowed my eyes on both
(Henry's POV) ---"You freak! Watch where you're going!" an angry girl snarled at me.I immediately shrank at the intensity of her voice.People started staring and gathering around us.My chest tightened at the unwanted attention I am receiving. I looked down, fumbling my fingers. This is all my
(Henry's POV)————"Everyone quiet!" Miss Dorothy shouted, and the room instantly fell silent.I flinched a little."This is your new classmate. I know how you all think, so don't try to do any funny business on my watch," she added strictly before stepping aside, giving me space to introduce mysel
(Henry's POV) ---"See, it's not so bad," Grey tried to pacify me while we marched in the halls. With the way I was acting, he definitely knew I was gravely nervous right now. He snaked his arms around my shoulders and glided his palms up and down to comfort me.I scooted closer to him and watched
(Henry's POV) ---"Henry! Let's go, we're gonna be late!" My older brother, Grey, yelled from downstairs. This was our first day of school, and he had try-outs for the football team in the afternoon. He wants to engage with the other players first, and leave a good impression on them, and so maybe
