Chapter Seven
Around an hour later we were in the car on our way to the shops, Anthony said we can't stay long cause he has to get back to his work soon, so we have a list we have to follow. I didn't mind I just needed to get out so people would see my face and hopefully do something, before we left I wrote on a little piece of paper explaining what's happened hoping I'd be able to give it to someone to help me. Once we arrive at the shop he places Amelia in one of those baby trolley things, taking my hand pulling me to walk closely next to him his hand keeping me there. He hands me the list so both of my hands were doing something, but it was as though he didn't need the list, he was walking down the aisle getting the items in order, did he memorise this before we left or something?
We were basically done with the shopping, as we walk down the final aisle I spot a worker stacking a shelve which I knew was my last chance to get help, I place my hand on Amelia

We arrive home from the supermarket where Amelia and I are ushered into the house, I was just out in a supermarket but he makes sure to keep me away from his neighbours, what is this guys deal? I lay on the bed with Amelia just staring at her, maybe this is gonna be our lives now just stuck with this man. I really thought this would be over when she told me she knew, but Anthony always finds a way to to foil all my plans, the door opens causing me to jump and move away from Anthony who walks in with fresh clothes, he looked like he just showered. "Tammy's left, I had her see sense" he starts closing the door behind him walking towards the bed, he gently picks Amelia up placing her into her coat. It was early the next morning, I was in the kitchen chopping some fresh melon slices, while Anthony was fixing some furniture in the back. I was a little nervous about today, I mean I wanna help him after he told me how his mother used to treat him, but there's also a part of me that doesn't for obvious reasons. I finish chopping the melon as Anthony walks in taking a piece shoving it into his mouth, I shake my head picking the remaining slices up placing them in a lunchbox for the fridge. "Mother it's nice to see you, come in" I hear him politely say, wow who knew this guy could be polite, I hear little child voice start talking walking into the house. It's been just about a month since Anthony attacked his mother, the days have flown by so fast, Amelia and I just being trapped is this house. Anthony hardly leaves it either, he tries to sneak out when he thinks I'm asleep, I haven't been able to sleep since his mother incident, I've been much too scared. He didn't give me an explanation on what happened with his mother and told me just to forget I ever saw her, I don't think the image of her laying on the floor will ever leave my head, it was horrifying. I slowly walk backwards down the aisle until I'm away enough, I turn walking down another aisle trying to find an exit or something. How much good is this helping if I'm just walking aimlessly around aisles? It's been a few more weeks since Anthony took me to case the joint, as ink put it that day. I've been leaving the police so many notes but I don't know if they're actually seeing them, the last note I left brought us the closest we've been to escaping, but still not close enough.
