Chapter 3: Mine in Everyway

Julian wakes to sunlight slicing through the half-open curtains of the hotel suite. His body aches everywhere--deep bruises on his hips, a bite mark throbbing on his neck, and a raw soreness between his legs that makes every shift painful. The sheets cling to his skin, sticky with the remnants of last night’s frenzy.

The man is a beast in bed!

Enzo's pheromones still linger in the room, but they smell far calmer now, settling with the Aircon.

Enzo stands by the window, already dressed in a crisp black shirt and trousers, scrolling through his phone. The two thick stacks of cash remain untouched on the nightstand.

Julian sits up slowly, wincing as he reaches for his discarded hoodie and jeans scattered on the floor.

"You're leaving," Enzo states, not a question. He turns, eyes tracing Julian's marked neck and the way he limps toward his clothes. His silver eyes flash possessively.

Julian doesn't respond, pulling his jeans back up with trembling hands.

Enzo frowns slightly. "Give me your number. I'll call you over when I need you again. I'll pay good."

Julian pauses, fingers tightening around his mother's necklace. The memory of Enzo's brutal thrusts, the knot swelling inside him, the way his body betrayed him with unwanted pleasure--it all surges back.

No. No way he's doing that again.

He shakes his head. "No. We had a deal. One night. That's it."

Enzo's eyes darken. No one has dared refuse him before. He stands, silver eyes digging at him. "You took the money. You took my knot. Don't pretend you didn't like it too--the way your body responded to me. I want more."

Julian's heart pounds, but he stands his ground, shifting back and putting some distance between them.

He zips his hoodie up, ignoring the fresh bruises. "I'm not interested. I'm leaving." He grabs the wads of cash anyway--survival over pride--and shoves it into his pocket. And before Enzo says another word else, Julian slips out the door, ignoring the Alpha's low growl of warning.

The hallway feels endless as he limps toward the elevator, ankle still swollen from the night before, but he doesn't stop. Doesn't look back.

Down in the lobby, Julian pushes through revolving doors into the bright Los Angeles morning. Horns blare on the street. Tourists snapping photos of the hotel's grand entrance.

He hails a cab, sliding into the back seat with a hiss of pain. "Main market. Fast." The driver eyes the bruises on his neck suspiciously through the review mirror, but pulls away.

Julian clutches the necklace, breathing hard. He has a friend at the market, he can hide there till the search settles. Then he would move to another city, start afresh.

That's the plan.

---

Back in the suite, Enzo pours himself a black coffee, staring at the closed door. The calm in his blood still hums-- unusual but addictive. No rage bubbling under his skin, no urge to destroy the room.

That Omega did something to him, and he wants to feel it again.

He sets the cup down, already planning his next move, when a knock comes from behind the door.

Two of his men enter, looking uneasy-- the kind of expression they wear when they've fucked up.

The taller one, Marco, clears his throat. "Boss, bad news. The Omega the father-in-debt sold us, the one we were supposed to pick up, he ran away during the skirmish on Sixth."

Enzo's glares at them. "Why are you telling me this?" He flicks them off, "I don't care about some random omega, all I care about is my money."

Rico, the second one shifts on his feet. "We just, we thought you'd like that one, though. Young, untouched with a pretty face. Fought like hell too. Figured he'd match your… tastes."

Before Enzo can brush them off again, he pulls out his phone and swipes to a photo, turning the screen toward Enzo.

It's grainy, taken in the dark--Julian standing in front of his father's shop, hood down, resentment in his eyes. His calm, almost unnoticeable scent still seems to radiate from the image in Enzo's memory.

Oh, so he owned him already?

Enzo stares as the recognition hits him hard. The same flushed cheeks he'd pressed his lips against last night. The same wide eyes that had tears in them while taking every inch.

The same Omega who had just walked out of this suite ten minutes ago.

Then it hits him exactly why the boy was so eager to leave!

That sneaky little Omega never gave him a name last night. No number. Nothing real. He hadn't been shy– he knew exactly who Enzo was and had been planning his escape from the very beginning

A dark smile spreads across Enzo's face, slow and dangerous. If that's how he wants to play.

The scent in his pheromones change into worrying obsessiveness."That's him," Enzo says. "The Omega I just fucked."

Marco blinks, taken aback. "What? Boss, he just-"

"Find him." Enzo's voice drops. "Every street, every shelter, every shitty motel in this city. Check cameras. Force his father's hands if you have to. I want him back in my bed by tonight."

Rico hesitates. "He's just some runaway Omega. We can grab another-"

Enzo grabs Rico by the collar, slamming him against the wall. "No. This one is mine! Bring him to me breathing. I don't care what it costs or who you hurt. Search every corner of Los Angeles. NOW!"

The men nod quickly and leave, already pulling out their phones, calling for backup.

Behind them, Enzo turns back to the window, overlooking the sprawling city below. That boy is out there, limping through the streets with his cash, thinking he escaped.

But he has no idea what's coming.

He picks up his phone and dials another number. "Talk to Marco for full details. Double the bounty. Anonymous tip line. Description: Twenty one, male Omega, silver necklace, injured ankle. Reward for anyone who spots him."

Enzo ends the call, his calm deepening into cold anticipation. Last night was only the beginning. Julian had warmed his bed ones.

And he would do it again, willing or dragged.

---

Some miles away , unaware, Julian pays the cab driver and slips into a crowded market, pulling his hood low. He sees cars in the distance, but he thinks they're just another part of the city's noise.

He doesn't notice a man at the end of the block taking a picture of him.

The phone rings for a few minutes. Longer than it would usually take--Julian knows it's because Elliot made him change his number. And technically, that should've been the moment he backtracked and cut the call off. But he keeps staring at the screen, even as Enzo's voice rings out from the speakers. "Hello?" His Italian accent is thick with the word, deep and raspy, instantly shooting a lick of heat up Julian's spine. "Hello?" he says again. Julian can't get himself to say a word, just lets out a long, shaky breath. And that's all Enzo needs... "Julian, is that you??" He exhales heavily. "What's wrong!? Where are you?! Why do you sound like that!? Talk to me, my baby..." Fuck. Julian feels tears spring to his eyes at the nickname. He squeezes his eyes shut, hanging up before Enzo can say anything else. What the fuck was he thinking, calling him at all!? He turns the phone off too, just in case. He's still sitting there by himself, when Jake approaches him again. This time, h

  • His Purchased Omega    chapter 109: Where I'm Wanted

Julian feels like his chest is about to fucking cave in. Ava looks worried. She takes her phone back from his grasp, her hand hovering over his back like she doesn't know if she's allowed to touch him. He finally remembers where he'd seen Liliana before, and why she looked so familiar. That night, at the gala. The one where Peter had leaked his tape to everyone there. He remembers seeing Liliana with a group of other Omegas. He had assumed she was a companion like him, but apparently not. She was a guest. A guest who had witnessed the most humiliating moment of his life and had decided to use it against him the moment he finally managed to get a little breath of fresh air. Fuckkk. Julian turns and walks away before Ava can say anything else. He doesn't know where exactly he's going, just that he needs to get as fucking far away from everyone as he can. Thankfully, Ava doesn't follow. Not like it would've made much difference. Everyone is already staring at him--some condescend

  • His Purchased Omega    Chapter 108: Gossip Page

"I heard rumors." Quinlan smiles, inching closer to Lois, his smile all teeth and mischief. Lois groans in response. He already knows where the conversation is headed before it even begins. Honestly, he already expected it. "No, no, don't groan," Quinlan responds. "I've never seen you pick up an Omega before. Who was that?" "I didn't pick him up. He's my boss' son." "Wait." Caleb, who'd been listening quietly the whole time, cuts in. "I thought Elliot had one child, his daughter, and I thought she was in London?" "Yeah, I don't know the full story either. But Elliot likes him a lot. I'm guessing it's because of who his mother is." "Who is she? His mother, I mean," Tee asks this time, making Lois scowl. "What is this? An interview?" He glares at his three friends one by one. They're all fourth-year engineering students. They met at orientation and somehow hit it off, forming a 'group'. There have been rumors more than once that they're in a gang just because of their similar ou

  • His Purchased Omega    Chapter 107: Bad Day

Everyone's eyes instantly snap up to him. Holy fucking shit! The driver behind him pulls back and speeds off almost immediately, leaving him completely defenseless in front of hundreds of pairs of eyes. Traitor. Thank God he decided to wear a hoodie today. He pulls the black hood over his head, his blue-tunnel jeans swishing as he takes one step forward. Then two. Okay, it's almost going well... Yes, they're staring, but they don't attempt to walk up to him. Although he can tell some of the Omegas are clearly displeased to see him stepping out of the same car as Lois. Can't they read the fucking room? Lois literally left him all alone in this massive school to fend for himself. What about that seems like anything more than it is to them? He keeps walking, head down, phone clutched tightly in his hand. He should've looked up. He really should've. "Ouch!" A female voice snaps, followed by a loud thud as someone falls to the pavement and the clatter of a clearly expensive

  • His Purchased Omega    Chapter 106: Anxious Beginnings

Julian has seen a lot of bad men before. His father's customers, and living in Enzo's world wasn't exactly all butterflies and flowers. But even then, he's never seen them look like this! Or if they did, Enzo never let him see it. Enzo never really let Julian near his work if he could help it. Almost like he didn't want Julian to see that side of him. Elliot is completely different. Despite seeing the petrified look on Julian's face, he still ushers him closer. There's literally blood on these men. Blood!! "This is my son... Julian Adams," he introduces them, his face lit up with pride. It's almost cute. Almost. If these men weren't fucking 6'3 giants with blood all over their arms and clothes. Their eyes rake over him with genuine confusion, but Elliot just smiles wider and pulls him closer. He looks really proud, meanwhile Julian is one second away from bolting. "Ezra, Miller, and Friday." He introduces them. "They work for me. In due time, you'll find out everything

  • His Purchased Omega    Chapter 105: Makeover

Three days. It's been three whole days, and Julian still hasn't gotten used to his new routine. After Elliot and a doctor 'ambushed' him in the room a few minutes after his call with Enzo and confrontation with Lois, he has barely had time to rest. First, they treated his wounds and interrogated him about his scars and the wound he absolutely refused to talk about. Then, Elliot made him engage in an almost two-hour-long father-son talk. He'd asked him questions. Personal questions, if Julian must add. Where did you grow up? What was your childhood like? What's your preference in an Alpha? The upside is that Elliot didn't seem too disappointed to find out Julian was gay. He didn't seem happy either, just indifferent. Then, how did you end up living with a Moretti? Why did you run away? Why did he hurt you this badly? Julian had refused to answer that question. He appreciates Elliot taking him in, he really does. But whatever happened between him and Enzo was nobody

Julian stands in the middle of an opulent suite of the five-star hotel in downtown Los Angeles. He still can't believe he agreed to this-- not like he really had a choice. It was either an attractive mafia lord, or getting gang raped by a group of dirty Alphas. Fuck his life. Behind him, Enz

"Finally getting rid of that useless Omega upstairs," his father snorts, clinking glasses with his guests like they were sealing a business deal.
