Kenzie's POV

"Oh goodness!" I say panicking as the needle comes closer to my nipple. My head is swimming from all the alcohol .

"Is it going to hurt?" I ask and the guy chuckles. "No. It's going to sting a little bit but nothing to worry about." He says and I nod.

"Annnd done." He says and I look at him. "That didn't hurt at all." I say genuinely shocked and they all laugh.

"I think it's all the alcohol." Eva says laughing. Her eyes are glassy from intoxication and her cheeks are a little pink.

I probably don't look much different.

After lunch we went to a small bar cafe place and we kept drinking there. It's almost six o'clock and I still haven't gotten a text from Aiden which is weird.

I pay the guy and we pick our bags up before leaving. "We have to make one more stop." Eva says and we follow her.

    Kenzie's POV(Three weeks later)It is the day of the fight and for some odd reason I am very calm.I have spent these three weeks getting used to the fact that I would not need to take care of Aiden anymore whilst training for the fight. The stress and annoyance of not having his attention has been taking the focus away from everything else.He has been very distant, constantly hiding away in the library with his nose in a book which is weird but expected since he literally just came out of a coma. I have a feeling that he wants to do things that he would not have done before and I totally get it. ...but I need attention.     Aiden's POVI wake up in a dark room with my sleeping mate cuddled up to me. My heart rate spikes at the sight of her and a beeping noise draws my attention to the side. I look at the heart rate monitor that is hooked up and I furrow my brows. There is a needle from an IV in my arm.     Kenzie's POVI take the towel out of the cool water and wring it out before pressing it against Aiden's burning body.It has been four days since we got him back and he has yet to wake up. The doctor said that he has silver poisoning and that the wolfsbane was slowly shutting down his body. His organs might start shutting down if he doesn't start showing signs of recovery. The poison is slowly killing him. If we had waited 30 minutes or more to get him to the doctor, he would've died. That thought alone makes me sick to my stomach. I have tried to shake it off but it bothers me. It had been so easy for that Hellhound to find us, who says other threats are not lurking.     Aiden's POVI don't know how long I've been here but I know that it has been days. They have given me food twice which is hardly enough for me to keep my strength up but they know that. They are being supposedly smart about this and I have to give it to them. All I'm waiting for is the moment one of them slips up. I've tried finding a way out but the most room is lined with silver and wolfsbane which makes it impossible to hear or touch anything near the door or windows. Zeus is weak from the silver and lack of food but he still responds now and then. The door opens loudly but I don't look up as the repulsive smell hits my nostrils. "Wake up, dick brain."     Kenzie's POV"What are you doing dumbass. You have to catch it not run from it." Aiden yells from across the soccer field. "Well forgive me for wanting to keep my head on my shoulders.
