Michael’s POV

“Let me get this straight.” I took a pause.

“Are you saying she’s never going to remember what she has done all through her life?”

“Yes. Except she has someone beside her who can help her regain memories,” the doctor replied.

As much as this favoured me. I felt sad as well.

I knew she was already finding it in her heart to forgive me. But I wanted her to remember everything.

How it had all started.

“And also, I’d advise that you make sure she doesn’t have access to any painful memories,” the doctor added.

Does that mean she has to forget that she lost her daughter as well?

This doesn’t sound fair as much as it seems to have favoured me.

When I told myself I wanted to win back her heart. I never wanted it this way.

“This is your fault,” Was all Bella could say before leaving me in the doctor’s office.

Those memories were like yesterday. But I made sure to do something for Etta.

Announcing her health status to the world. Asking that everyone be fair to her.

Marietta’s POVI was about to take a step backward when I tripped on my heels and fell backward.Aiden was quick to grab me behind, and pulled me to himself, causing me to come face-to-face with him.His ragged breath fanned my face, and for a moment, I got lost in his eyes. The other night, I was too drunk to notice his blue emerald eyes. But getting much more closer to him–I’d agree that he was one of the most handsome Greek gods I’ve ever met.How could someone have all this beauty? His blonde hair complimented his blue eyes. Not to talk of his tiny nose, and his well-shaped face with his thin lips. I was about to push him off, but he wouldn’t even let go of me. Suddenly I felt so hot, just like I had felt back in the Hollywood Premier hall upon seeing him. I could barely concentrate as the memories of the other night kept playing in my head.“T–thanks,”“Mmmm…” “Can we discuss business now?” I stuttered, trying to lose his grip on me.“Seriously?” He said, tossing some hair off

Michael's POV I thought Gloria was going to help out the other time. But it turned out that I was wrong. I need to see Marietta. I just need to. Picking up my car keys, I made my way out of the house. All through the drive, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. “I just need to see her,” I whispered. Upon getting to her place, the first thing that greeted me was the silence. There are no guards and no cars; it looks mostly like a haunted house. The last time I saw her, she didn't look too good. And she has threatened me to leave.Could she have left because of me?“Marietta!” I called out. “Can you hear me? Pl see let's talk!” Just as I was about to make my way in.I saw a car coming from afar and I quickly approached. I'm very sure they all know me by now since I'm a popular celebrity who is already losing all he has. “Sorry, so you have any idea about Ms. Etta?” I quickly asked. My eyes were all cold already as I shivered in the snow. “You didn't read the news?” The o

Marietta’s POVThe rays of the sun shine brighter.Reflecting through the white curtains which were tossed by the gentle breeze. I yawned and was about to stretch when I realized I wasn't the only one on the bed. “What the–” I covered my mouth in shock.Raising the bed sheet quickly. I realized I was still intact. “Thank God,” I said.Shoving off the bed sheet, I gently picked up my heels and my handbag. “Headache…” I muttered. Placing a head on my head. Last night's memories came crashing back. FLASHBACK “Let her go!” He ordered. Quickly, the hoodlums turned their attention away from me. “You are a fine young man.” Their leader scoffed. Reaching for one of the iron rods on the floor. A fight ensued.“We are sorry!” Was the next word they chroused.“Scram!” The man yelled. Dropping their weapons they all scurried off. My eyes were already dimming when this stranger helped me. But how I ended up in his bed was what I couldn't remember. FLASHBACK FADES “Bella, I'm scared

Marietta’s POV “Don't let them know,” Albert pulled me closer. Tears formed in my eyes as my hands trembled in fear. “Just get me a first aid box. It's just a scratch,” he replied. In a second, I was soaked in sweat. “Listen to me,” he said.Reaching out to my hand and holding me firmer. He pulled me closer. “You'll stich me up.” He whispered into my ears. My jaws dropped in fear as I shook my head in disapproval. “I've never done that before. I can't,” I stuttered and tried to run away. “Then I'll hold you right here while you watch me die,” he replied. I could see his eyes getting closed as much blood spilled from the cut. It appears that whoever has done that left through the window. There were shades of broken glass on the floor, which served as evidence. “Hey, listen to Marietta.” He tilted my head up. “Just follow my lead,” he pleaded. Placing the cotton wool in my hand. And the spirit. He stuffed his mouth with some bandages. “I’m sorry,” I pleaded. And like tha

Marietta's POVI had woken up that morning and realized last night was nothing but a dream. I had dreamt of him coming to my hotel room. I just had to pass the night there. I couldn't afford going to the place Mr. Felix my manager has booked for me. I was a bit drunk and celebrities life are being monitored. Going all the way to the place given to me by the company couldn't deny my image. Just as I was about to get out of bed. Clara my personal assistant walked in. "The manager asked of you last night. And why you didn't seem to go to the house," Clara broke the silence. "And what did you say?" "I told him you have some unfinished business," Clara cleared her throat. "Good," Handing over some files to me, I scanned through and noticed that I was still in one way or the other linked to Michael. "And when did the Whitmore invest in the acting world?" "Mr. Felix included them and-" She wasn't done talking when I made my way into the bathroom. "We are going to the whitmore's

Marietta’s POV “Boss,” one of the guards interrupted our moment. Albert has always been like this to me ever since I got here. He has a way of scaring me. I knew this wasn't my first time being in a man's hand. But with him, it is so different. Why does my heart race faster whenever we are in this position? With his left hand on my waist and his right hand on my wrist. I inhaled the same air with me. “Speak,” “I just got a call from the hospital that your mother is having a seizure,” The guards responded. “Don't just stand there and watch. Get the car ready, now!” Albert commanded. With his eyes still boring into mine. He hesitated for a minute. Whispering to my ears. “I'll be back,” Just after he left. I quickly made my way to Valerie's room and realized she was sleeping. Putting her on my back, I made my way downstairs. “Mommy, are we going home already?” Valerie asked. Just as I heard her voice, I knew she was awake already. “Mommy needs some quiet,” I whispered.
