Chapter 101 ~ Test

{Isla’s POV}

We were in the vast field before the Arena and the entire Reignile army was assembled before us. By ‘we’, I mean my mother, Carlot, Cayden, Daniel, Ralph, and me. We served as a group of Witnesses.

Witnesses to the crafty scheme of the enemy— that there were traitors amongst the Reignile army, as I had figured out during the last Rogue mission.

I had told my mother how General Raand, our map reading General, had betrayed us and led us to our deaths— for two instances now! I had also told her how our new recruits were the minions in this vile scheme. Hence, we were here to fish the remaining ones out, learn how they managed to deceive us and punish them afterward.

But we needed to be careful about it. These people were obviously smart and for all I know, they could be more than the 500 I had supposed them to be.
