It was a bright new day, one that filled me with life and exuberance.

I jumped out of bed, well I jumped out of Cayden’s bed— with our intercourse, we had nearly torn down his new Chambers last night just like we had torn down his former Chambers at the Skid Quarters.

With a bubbly mood, I paced through the Palace hallways, my scrutinizing gaze trailing over the decorations that were being set up all around the Palace— premises and interior. I was personally telling the workers where each decoration price should go, what color shade to be used, and in what quantities the decorations are to be applied.

I needed everything to be perfect.
