Chapter 5: Going Back

Four days later, Braelyn arrived at White Flake Pack.

Braelyn never knew she would be coming back here after she left here six years ago but she had no choice

Miss to be truthful, we are yet to fnd a lead, you can only be patient, until we fnd something. The policeman's voice resounded in her head.

Braelyn knew the policemen were being truthful and was working hard on the triplet's case; whoever the kidnapper was had done a good job, she didn't even catch a scent of whoever it was, and the only evidence that something had happened was the blood print and trace of struggles.

And the policemen had taken the blood print and every fngerprint that could be captured but all of them belonged to none but her kids

The kidnappers not only did everything to erase their traces but they were smart enough to tamper with the building CCTV and the streets.

Braelyn was sure that it would take time for the police to fnd her missing triplet so she can only go to Cedric.

Cedric was their father and he was now a powerful Alpha unlike the crown prince he was back then.

Braelyn offended Cedric back then because of the car but she doesn't care about that for now, he could do whatever he wants as long as he fnds her triplet.

"I can do it!" Braelyn took a deep breath as she entered the White Flake Pack.

Familiar and once-hostile faces stared back at her with smiles but she ignored them.

"Hey, beau." A handsome man in his twenties suddenly grabbed Braelyn's hands.

Braelyn recognized this man, he was Wyatt, and he was Elkie's brother and Cedric's beta. And that would do.

"Hey." Even though Braelyn wasn't in for his firty playful smile, Braelyn couldn't help but lead Wyatt on.

He was the best bet to lead her to Cedric.

"Hi," Braelyn called back with a feigned delicate smile which made Wyatt grin wildly.

"You look familiar, beau." Wyatt suddenly held her hand to his lips and kissed it softly.

"I once lived in White Flake Pack," Braelyn replied, which made Wyatt nod his head.

"And may I ask what your name is?" Wyatt asked her in his playboy firty voice.

"Braelyn." Braelyn cut to the chase. She knew that once she says her name he'd defnitely connect her with six years ago which was perfect, she would use that chance to beg him to take her to Cedric

Wyatt's eyes squinted in disbelief, "You're Braelyn? That person from six years ago?" Wyatt asked and eyed her from head to toe.

"Damn. I never knew you were such a hot beauty." He said which made Braelyn smack her lips in irritation.

In a monotone and luxurious offce, Cedric sat behind an expensive table, tapping on his laptop.

"Alpha." A guard suddenly appeared before Cedric.

"What's it?" Cedric asked in a cold voice without lifting his head from whatever he was doing.

"Beta Wyatt asked to see your highness at his highness's garden." The guard reported which made Cedric frown slightly.

"You can leave," Cedric replied to the guard and continued to work on his documents. After a few minutes, he power off his laptop and closed it

He stood up and unbuttoned his cuffink as he walked out of his offce.

Cedric was more handsome and tall compared to six years ago. He had a sharp jawline, enticing red lips, beautiful eyes, and a long straight nose with a fgure that'll shame top models.

What Cedric heard when he frst arrived at the garden was a mixture of happy laughter, it was Wyatt's and someone else's laughter.

Soon, an enticing and the most beautiful scent he had ever smelled before drifted into his nose.

'Mate!' Killian, Cedric's wolf, suddenly began to growl in anger.

"Braelyn?" Cedric's fst was clenched as he remembered that beautiful face from six years ago. She left, why did she come here all of a sudden?

Cedric strode toward the garden curious to know the unknown and when he arrived at the garden he saw Wyatt's hand wrapped around Braelyn's shoulder

"Damn that Wyatt!" Cedric growled angrily upon seeing the happy two together but he tried to hide his annoyance.

"Wyatt?" Cedric called with a fat tone.

Wyatt turned toward Cedric immediately after he heard his name, the smile on his face wiped off when he saw Cedric glaring at him for no reason.

"Alpha!" Wyatt greeted Cedric.

Cedric nodded and acted as if he didn't see Braelyn who was looking at him. "Why did you call me here?" Cedric asked coldly.

His voice was freezing with coldness which stunned Wyatt wondering why he was annoyed.

"Braelyn wanted to see you." Wyatt wrapped his hand around Braelyn's shoulder familiarly.

'Don't touch my mate!' Killian yelled in anger and almost knocked Wyatt off if it wasn't for Cedric who restrained it frmly.

Cedric frowned in anger upon hearing that Wyatt wanted to see him all because of Braelyn. "Do you think I have time to meet some jobless people? How dare you call me here because of her?" Cedric frowned angrily.

Braelyn frowned in anger due to Cedric's contemptuous voice also but upon remembering the kidnapped twin, she gritted her teeth and tried to fake a smile.

"I'm sorry Alpha Cedric, I was the one who begged Beta Wyatt to help me summon you for something important," Braelyn said anxiously.

Cedric scoffed in annoyance. "Something important? What is it about you that can be important to me?" He asked.

"I… Can we speak in private please?" Braelyn asked and directed a glance at Wyatt.

Wyatt nodded at her with a smile and she smiled at him in appreciation when he began to leave the garden for the both of them to talk

Cedric was enraged upon seeing the loving glance the two sent each other. "You have three minutes," he said in annoyance which made Braelyn's eyes widen.

"That… that's too short." She called out anxiously only for him to check his wristwatch and say, "two minutes left."
