Celia POV

Everyone froze.

I slowly walked down the stairs and rubbed my eyes.

Leon was slightly shocked at the sight of me. Jazlene sat up straight all of a sudden, eyes full of surprise.

"Celia... So you've been home all this time?"

I nodded. "Yes, Grandma. Where else could I go?"

Tamia's face was awkward. "Why are you at home? Didn't you get..."

I yawned. "Where else do you think I should be right now?"

Tamia screamed, "How could you escape from the police station? You're a criminal! Did you have to drag us down with you?"

I cocked my head in confusion. "The police station? Why would I be at the police station?"

Tamia snorted coldly, "Don't pretend! The scandalous things you've done out there are all over the social news. We already know all about it! Just now, the police station even called us! You can't hide it anymore! Just admit it!"

"Scandalous things?" I showed a few surprised faces and walked to the landline without panicking. "I don't know what you're talking about
