Damn! This was not how I wanted this to go! Why was I such a mess. Evan had held me while I cried and the sparks running along my body were amazing! His calm presence helped me calm down and I was able to back up from him and sit back on my blanket. “I am sorry about that, no matter how long has passed it is still so painful to talk about.” Evan looked at me with sympathy. He didn’t look angry and that was a huge relief. I just needed him to understand that I chose this for a reason and that I could never go back to my pack. My stepfather was a brutal man who would kill me. I looked up at Evan and asked, “do you want to come back to my room for some coffee and I can share the rest with you?”
