To my surprise and embarrassment, the Alpha snickered, holding a burst of laugh.
Was he mocking me? Did he not really meant when he said that I can ask for anything?
Oh goddess! Why did I even think that he actually meant that I could request anything I want. I should know my place! And be grateful to whatever they give me and not request for something more anymore.
