Something was touching Calvin. He rolled onto his side and swapped at the object, hoping whatever or whoever would stop. It didn’t. He peeled one eye open, prepared to yell if it was a person, but the anger evaporated when he saw Angel. She was crouched by his bed, her lips pursed and her finger aiming for his ribs again.
