29 - Kidnapped

Everything happened in a flash. Ava was hyperventilating with her legs running towards the direction of the car before it took the next turn to the right. She ran but her legs gave up on her after running towards four city blocks. She held her knees with her hands and kept gasping for air. Her eyes were still wide and her mouth was hanging down having no idea what had just happened.

“No! Oh my God! W-what do I say to Made? She's going to kill me. Oh gosh! Why did this happen? Oh my God!” Ava ran back to the store and questioned the passerbys if they jotted down the license plate of the car that kidnapped her niece. Nobody was able to provide vital details except at the car was an old Mercedes Benz. She felt dizzy and couldn't even imagine to think what Madeline would say and how she would react.
