21- The First Dance

Giving my image a final look in the mirror I hummed and sniffed the delicious barbecue scent swirling from the window. The scars were still there on my face.

But I was no more ashamed of them.

I could hear guests talking and mingling. No, it was not my nonexistent werewolf hearing. Our window used to open in our private backyard, which was vast.

I was slowly swaying my hips to the music beat being played at the party. Today I had curled my straight hair into soft waves.

The short dress in turquoise blue was complimenting my silver eyes.

I did not know about my husband but I was sure that Lunas of neighboring packs would surely kill me because of their ogling husbands.

At the ball, most of them thought that though my husband had found his mate then maybe I was available.

The dress I was wearing was too tight for my liking. But instead of going for just underwear, I decided on a pair of leather shorts too.
