Jake POV

"I, Eva Silver from Grey Lake pack rejecting you Alpha Jake Smith as my mate."

Something cracked inside me. And those fragments percied every inch of my body. The pain made me vulnerable. Eva was dropped to the ground right before my eyes but I wasn't able to move to hold her. I felt my wolf taking over and I have no strength to control him. I was at my weakest. I don't give a shit even if someone kills me. A scream tore out of me and in a fraction of a minute I was on my four covered in fur.

It started raining. My wolf turned back and sprinted into the forest. As my pace was picking up, the rain was turning to a downpour. I submerged completely into the pain. I don't know where my wolf was going.

My wolf came to a stop at nowhere. He was panting and taking slow steps forward. "You are an asshole. You tried to separate me from my mate", he said.

Hello Readers! While writing this, I kept myself in place of Eva. This leaves me heartbroken. Leaving the one you love is the hardest part. I hope you like this chapter.
