Chapter 26

"Umm..." I moan when I feel a feathery soft touch against my cheek. It feels like someone is trailing their finger down my cheek. And I want to see who is it, but damn, my slepy eyes revolt against my mind to not open anytime soon.

"Wake up, Angel!" I hear that voice, his voice. My Darin! He is here, with me. He is touching me. I smile at that thought, automatically.

"Are you dreaming of me, Angel?" He chuckles softly while running his hand through my hair.

Wait, Dream? Am I dreaming? Is he touching me in my dream? Well, maybe yes. It feels too good to be real anyways.

I feel him running his finger gently through my long hair, caressing them.

Wait! My hair!! And long?

Oh, no! My wig may come out if he does that...

I open my eyes abruptly and groan when the bright light hit them making me shut them tightly again.

"Oh, you are awake!" I hear his voice again, cheerful as ever. Opening my eyes slowly, the first thing that comes into my sight are his breathtaking emerald green eyes.
