Raymond’s POV
I froze.
My breath hitched as Jude’s words echoed in my mind, crashing against the last fragments of sanity I was clinging to.
“Suck my cock, Raymond.”
He said it so casually like it wasn’t the most obscene thing he could ask at that moment. As if it was the most natural request in the world.
I blinked up at him, heart pounding, lips parted in shock.
“I… I’m not doing that,” I managed to say, even though my voice came out hoarse and uncertain. “I already told you—I’m not into men.”
He tilted his head, his smirk fading slightly. “Don’t you want the pain to disappear?”
My heart throbbed with pain, my teeth sinking into my bottom lip. I felt as if I was on fire, but that wasn’t enough reason for me to….I couldn’t….
“Raymond.” I flinched as his voice turned dark, trembling like a tumbleweed. Even still I avoided his gaze, my brows furrowed in thought.
Do I really have to do this?
Just then, my heart lurched as if I had been bunched in the gut, a sharp pain shooting through my veins. I doubled over, panting for air as my vision blurred.
“You’re stubborn.” Jude chuckled, his arms crossed against his chest as he watched me with an amused glint in his eyes. “Should I watch how long you will last?”
I forced myself to look up at him, and he cocked a brow, his tongue darting out to lick his lips.
“So what would it be?”
“I—Aah!” I was cut off by another wave of pain, my eyes wide as I realized there was no escaping it—no escaping him.
With the last of my strength, I forced myself to muster; “I…I’ll do it.”
A devilish grin overtook his features and I gulped my spit, goosebumps littering my skin.
“Good choice.”
My eyes rounded as he pulled out his dick from his pants without hesitation.
Lord. How can he be…so big…
I stared at him for way too long, and he slapped me with his dick, bringing me back to reality.
“Come on.” His expression was neutral, but his eyes….they told a different story, resembling a calm storm.
I braced myself, my shaky hands reaching for him. The pain made me hazy, but I took a deep breath, forcing myself to focus, but…
What the hell am I supposed to do?
“Uhm….” Heat burst in my cheeks. God this was so embarrassing. “How do I….”
Jude arched a brow, his lips spreading into a mocking smirk. “Would you like some help?”
“Ye—”
Without warning, he suddenly thrust into my mouth, his head tipped back and his eyes squeezed shut. My throat stretched, and I choked, tears stinging my eyes. I instinctively tried to pull back, but he held me in place, forcing me to take all of him as his hips snapped forward violently.
I could feel him press against my throat, and saliva dribbled down my chin as I struggled to keep up. He was hard and hot, not giving me time to catch my breath.
The pain from the bite had morphed into something else, like a feverish feeling that spread through my body. His grip on his hair tightened, and the lack of oxygen made me lightheaded.
He suddenly pulled out, causing me to erupt into a fit of coughs, my chest heaving. I looked up at him helplessly, my eyes pleading.
But he greeted me with that sick smile.
“Stick your tongue out.” He ordered, and I hesitantly obeyed, uncertainly flashing in my eyes.
He slid into my mouth, slowly this time, and I swirled my tongue around his tip.
Jude froze, his brows pulled together as his smile faltered, his eyes hooded with pleasure. “Do that again.”
I had done it without thinking, but now it was even more embarrassing. I used to dream of the moment a woman would suck me off, but here I was, doing it to a man instead.
I did as he said, letting my tongue glide against his tip slowly. At the same time, he pushed further into my mouth, but not like before. My lips closed around him,
making sure my teeth didn’t graze him as I took him inch by inch.
My heart raced, and my fingers trembled as they wrapped around his base, making up for the place my mouth couldn’t reach.
Was I doing this right?
“Fuck yes.” A moan slipped from his lips, and I looked up at him out of pure curiosity. Our gazes met and something flashed in his eyes, but it was gone before I could tell what it was.
But watching him…with that expression….
Why did it make my heart skip a beat?
I felt him twitch in my mouth, and on instinct, I took all of him in. His eyes widened, and he groaned as he threw his head back, his grip on my hair tightened.
With one more thrust, he burst into my mouth, his thick cum pooling on my tongue. I tried not to gag at the salty taste. It was warm, and my cheeks flushed with embarrassment at the thought.
Jude’s breathing was ragged as he came down from his release. I thought he’d pull out, but instead, his hand found my chin, firm and deliberate, as if ensuring nothing had slipped away from his control.
His gaze was still clouded with desire, but beneath the heat, there was something else—something darker. Whatever it was, it sent a chill racing down my spine.
“Swallow.”
I did as I was told, swallowing his seed while his dick constricted against the walls of my throat. He groaned, his chest heaving slightly.
“See.” Finally, he pulled out, and I gasped for air, collapsing on the bed as my body gave out from fatigue. Just like he said, the pain vanished in an instant. “That wasn’t so bad was it?”
My throat was hoarse, but I managed to speak. “Can…can we stick to kissing…”
Jude zipped his pants and jumped off the bed. And I waited anxiously for his reply, unconsciously holding my breath. He spared me a glance over his shoulder, his cold demeanor returning.
“That’s not your choice to make.”
Jude’s POV“Run!” I shout, shadows shooting forth to shield Raymond as scouts fire charmed arrows, the city blurring around us. The streets are a mess—cars honking, lights flashing, people screaming as we dodge by. Those guild bastards are on our tails, their cloaks flapping like vultures, and my blood’s boiling. “Stay close, sunshine!” I shout, clutching his hand, his light flashing wild under his flesh.Raymond’s panting, eyes wide yet angry. “They’re fast, Jude!” he says, voice hoarse, ducking an arrow that burns the air with malevolent power. “Where the hell we going?” His light flashes, sending one scout back, but more are coming, their knives glinting under lamps. I can feel our relationship humming, linking us together, and it’s the only thing protecting me from losing my shit.“Away from these pricks!” I snarl, yanking him into an alley. My shadows wrap around us, covering our footprints, but the scouts are merciless, their boots pounding behind. I’m enraged—pissed at them, pi
Raymond’s POV“The sun feels amazing,” I giggle, stepping into the light, Jude’s hand firm in mine, his shadows winding around us like they’re jealous of the warmth. The city’s alive around us—cars honking, people yelling, odors of coffee and asphalt mixing in the air. My skin’s tingling, hybrid abilities flashing under it, light and dark grappling but not battling anymore. “Jude, you feel this? It’s like… I’m alive, very alive.”He’s squinting at the sun, grumpy as hell, yet his eyes soften as they settle on me. “You glow in the sun—beautiful,” he adds, voice all scratchy, like he’s afraid to say it. His shadows flutter, wrapping closer, and I grin, leaning against him. “You too—my grumpy sun,” I taunt, and he snorts, but his hand squeezes mine, warm and steady. Damn, I love him, and the way our relationship hums, I know he feels it too. We’re in some mortal metropolis, maybe Chicago, I don’t know—tall skyscrapers, unclean sidewalks, normal life. After the shrine fight, we needed a r
Jude’s POV“That damn Hollowkin’s from Calix’s shit,” I growl, pushing Raymond through the portal, his hand sticky in mine. The air’s all weird, humming like a broken engine, and my gut’s yelling we’re headed for danger. The portal spits us out in some busted-up ruin—cracked stones, plants everywhere, and a weird light coming from a shrine up ahead. “You feel that, sunshine? It’s tugging us.”Raymond’s eyes are enormous, his new hybrid glow flickering, like light and dark are struggling inside him. “Yeah, it’s… calling me,” he replies, voice trembling but forceful, like he’s terrified but won’t back down. “That temple—it’s in my dreams, Jude. Calix’s curse is here.” He squeezes my hand, and gosh, our bond’s humming, linking us so tight it’s like we’re one guy. I wanna grasp him, kiss him till the world goes quiet, but there’s no time.“Stick close,” I mutter, shadows wrapping around my hands, ready to crush anything that moves. The shrine’s a mess—broken pillars, old carvings, Seraphi
Raymond’s POV“Goddamn, my head hurts,” I say softly, hardly opening my eyes. Jude is right there, and his face looks tense and scared, like I'm going to crack. My body feels like it has been through a meat grinder. There are fangs stabbing my gums and this strange hot-cold thing coursing through me. “Jude, what the hell is wrong with me?”He is on his knees next to this old bed, holding my hand so tightly that it hurts, yet I don't move away. Raymond, you're changing. He continues, "It's freaking me out," and his voice sounds rough, like he hasn't slept in days. His dark eyes are looking me over, as if I may suddenly disappear. "That transformation ritual is messing with your Seraphin blood. You’re a hybrid now, like me. But it’s… it’s rough, man.”I try to sit up, but my muscles scream, something wild tearing through me—light and gloom clashing in my veins. I suck in a breath, holding to his arm. “Rough? It’s like I’m being ripped in two, Jude. I feel you, though—like you’re inside
Jude’s POV“No—Raymond!” I yell, my voice all fucked up, cracking like I’m some scared kid, catching him as he drops, his blood soaking my hands, hot and sticky, the Seraphin blade’s glow fading where Calix stabbed him. The temple’s dark as shit, air thick with dust that chokes me, that sour magic stink burning my nose. Raymond’s face is white as a ghost, eyes fluttering, breathing all shallow, blood pooling under him on the cold stone floor. My chest’s killing me, like someone’s squeezing it tight, my arm throbbing where Calix’s blade cut me, but fuck that—it’s nothing compared to the bond screaming in my head, Raymond’s heartbeat fading, weak, like… like it’s gonna stop. “Raymond, hey, stay with me,” I say, voice breaking bad, cupping his face, his skin cold but his eyes finding mine, still fighting, still him. “You… you can’t leave me, okay? You hear me?”He gasps, small and shaky, his hand grabbing mine, weak as hell but holding on, blood mixing between our fingers, warm and gross
Raymond’s POV“Fuck, it’s… it’s back,” I choke out, grabbing my chest, the curse burning like someone jammed a hot coal under my ribs. I’m down on my knees in the vampire realm’s dirt, all cold and muddy, my hands sinking into the muck. Jude’s right there, crouched next to me, his hand rough but warm on my shoulder, holding me so I don’t fall apart. His blood’s still smeared on my shirt from that fortress fight, his side bandaged quick but leaking red, and his eyes are sharp, staring into mine, scared shitless. The air’s cold, smells like wet moss and rusty iron, but my head’s spinning like crazy, a vision hitting me—a glowing relic chunk in Calix’s hand, some temple in the mortal world, vampires screaming their lungs out. The bond’s thumping hard, our heartbeats all jumbled, keeping me from totally losing my shit. “J-Jude,” I stammer, voice all cracked and wobbly, “it’s… it’s showing me something. A-a temple. We gotta… gotta go.”Jude’s grip gets tighter, his claws brushing my skin,
