Anna's Pov
"I said I dont know who she is!"
I stepped back from him. I didn't want a repeat of last time. Last time he hit me so hard I had to call my boss and told him that I was sick. Last time he hit me I had to pretend I wasn't home so my parents wouldn't visit. Last time he hit me I couldn't let my best friend inside the apartment or she'll see the damage he did to my face.
Last time he promised to never hit me again.
His eyes looked murderous and his breathing was heavy. He started walking towards me but I stepped back. I didn't want a repeat of last time, I couldn't handle it.
