Chapter 7| Finally

Dahlia POV

"Why didn't you say you and Emery went to the club? Is that true?" Dahlia boldly asked her husband. She's wanted to ask him this for a while, but she's been holding back. Travis currently put their bag on the side of the bed.

"Answer me, Travis," she continued and followed him.

"For what? He is our friend. We didn't do anything wrong. What is your problem?" Travis asked. She can see the furrowing of his forehead.

"B-but you're already married, and you know Emery used to like you. Don't you always avoid her? You don't want her to stick to you," she again nagged him.

"You said it used to be. It used to be different now. Emery is our friend, and you have nothing to be jealous of us. We're married; I'm yours by law and on paper."

"Yes, I am your wife, but in your heart? Am I still your heart beating? Do you still love me?" she tearfully asked. Dahlia saw Travis look away from her.

"Stop this non-sense Dahlia. We are here to enjoy, not drama."
