*CATHY'S POV *

The rest of the day, Alexander went out of the company with some guests, and I cleaned his office and the other rooms. I don't have any problem doing this stuff as I have always done this in my own house too. My father always made me do house maid jobs because he told me that I am incapable of going into business as I don't have brains. Thankfully, he gave me permission to continue the university after high school. I continued with my work on the computer, messaged my friends about my new job, and also tried making tea and coffee.

I went home with the driver and the bodyguard who were told to pick me up and drop me off anywhere outside the house after that anonymous attack. Alexander came home late as always, and I was waiting for him sitting on the center of the bed reading my book. He came in taking off his black coat and loosening the tie on his neck. He placed the coat on the bed and sat behind me, grabbing my waist with one arm.
